The All Seeing Eye

Open a magazine, watch a movie, Netflix or a pop music video these days and you are guaranteed to see a celebrity covering one of their eyes. “That’s an okay sign,” you may say. Or, if you are more skeptical, “What is there obsession with eyes? Why is it everywhere?”

Why is this important? To avoid subconscious influences, one must learn to find hidden messages. The one eye has deep roots in the Thelema symbolism for Horus. Horus was the son of Osiris and Isis, and god of the sky and war in Egyptian mythology. It was believed that his left eye contained the moon and the right the sun. He was often depicted as a man with the head of a hawk or a single eye called the wadjet.

One of the foremost myths of ancient Egypt was the Osiris myth. Osiris was believed to be the first pharoah of Egypt before becoming the god of the underworld. The myth begins with Set – acting in his role as the evil deity of Egypt – murders his brother and usurps him as pharoah. Of course, Osiris was a god and resurection is as common as it is in comics, Set cuts his brother into forty pieces then scatters them across Egypt, thus elimating his opposition forever; except his mistake was two fold.

Isis, a gifted magician and dedicated wife, travels the countryside gathering every piece of her husband. She puts him back together and using magic ressurects him. Isis during this time either was, or becomes pregnant from her undead husband, with Horus. Horus is raised in secret away from his uncle Set until he comes of age, in which he can vye with him to become the pharoah. Thanks to the help of the gods Ra and Thoth, Horus’ attempt to unseat Set is successful, but at the cost of having his right eye gouged out. The god of wisdom, Thoth then heals this eye. Egyptians believed this was the explanation of the phases of the moon.

In the Book of Law, Crowley explains how Thelemites believe in three Aeons: one of Isis, one of Osiris, and the current Aeon of Horus. Each with their own charactaristics. The first aeon, of Isis, was a time of matriarchy, and of pagan worship – usually centered on mother or earth as the mother worship – as life. The aeon of Orisis was one of patriarchy and the beginning of world-wide worship of the singular Fatherly gods. Christianity here is often the example, as it replaced the worship of life with one of death and resurrection. The final aeon was the Aeon of Horus. The Aeon of Horus is one of the child, in contrast of the motherly Aeon of Isis and the fatherly Aeon of Osiris, it is one of both masculinity and feminity in the form of bisexuality and the episcene.

It is dominated by a new age of humanity where we throw away our solely paternal spirituality and grow into one of self actualization. Humanity will free itself from death and the apparent slavery of sin through the law, “Do as thou wilt, shall be the whole of the law.”

The “All Seeing Eye” is thus many things. It is the admittance that they have been recruited by the New World Order, that they are satanic Thelemites, and acknowledgement that we are in the New Age, the Aeon of Horus.

  1. “To avoid subconscious influences, one must learn to find hidden messages”

You might say we need to be “Vigilant Citizens”!

I doubt all of these celebs and models have been inducted into mystery cults, its probably the photographers and publishers who push this.

That said, there’s too much coincidence for these images and numerological references to not be intentional, but how serious are they? Is it trolling us to make us look like conspiratards? Is it a cult functioning as a unifying institution? Or do they really believe it?

I don’t know, but we should adopt it so the ADL will label it white supremacist.

  2. I’m not sure the utility of talking about the eye thing. It is sufficient to me to know these people hate me and want to hurt me.

Maybe it is the underlying current of Masonry that I have sensed on this site that has its curiosity piqued by this sort of esoteric mystery school stuff.

Myself being uninitiated, and unconvinced of the utility of Masonry, this seems to come from left field.

I accept it is likely a function of my own ignorance that I am not following why Horus matters in current year.

I am open to more discussion of the merits of the secret society as a model for our organizations going forward.

I am very interested in hearing more about the esoteric, how the “old ways” and the mystery schools could serve the greater cause, which itself has yet to be cleared outlined.
