The Charleston Butterfly Effect

Recently, a fellow Identity Dixie writer, Padraig Martin, published a wonderful piece critiquing the more idiotic members of the Right, specifically, those that praise psychotic killers such as Dylann Roof, Anders Breivik and others. The responses soon came in, and while most of them were reasonable and thoughtful, far more people (post-published editor note: “than there should have been”) used the occasion to opine on how heroic and “saintly” Roof was, shouting “don’t punch right” and how Bowlcut criticism was the mark of a cuck. It was all pure delusion from the fringe nuts.

Again, let me stress that these views represent a minority of the comments across social media. The vast majority of ID readers are like ID, decent Dixian Christians who have had enough of the insanity of the Left. But, those comments, unfortunately, do exist and to those people let me say – if Dylann Roof is your “man,” “hero” or “saint” – then you are not my friend, comrade or brother. You are trash. You and I do not live in the same moral universe. Dixie will only be free when we capture the hearts and minds of normal, everyday Dixians and they will never condone the veneration of psycho killers.

To those who sing the praises of murderous malcontents like Roof, name one positive thing that has come from the result of Roof’s actions? In addition to the lives lost, he helped ignite a genocidal cultural war against Dixie. Because of him, the Left got a blank check on the South, leading to the removal of countless monuments and the vandalization of many more. The dead were not immune from the backlash, Confederate cemeteries were (and continue to be) vandalized. For the most part, the perpetrators have either gotten away scot-free or with a slap on the wrist. Most major stores no longer sell Confederate flags. People get fired for even posing with Confederate flags. The Dukes of Hazzard was pulled from television. All of this would have been unthinkable in 2014. And, all because of a single madman.

Roof also lead to the emboldening of the SPLC and antifa. I can remember just a few years ago when the SPLC was more of a nuisance than anything else. I can remember when they went after a friend of mine, I actually congratulated him on making it to the big leagues and said that I hoped to get my own profile soon. That’s because, back then, they were a joke (they still are a joke, but you get my meaning). At least, in Dixie, no one really feared the loss of a job because of them. Now, when a friend is named by them, I fear that a good Christian and fellow Dixian has been rendered permanently unemployable, robbing him of his right to provide for his family. Everyone gets tied to the madman’s legacy.

Meanwhile, antifa was practically nonexistent. I can remember going to see bands that antifa hated and nothing happened. Everyone just went to listen to some music and have a good time. Those same bands, while outside of Dixie, would be met with riots and once antifa even tried to throw someone into oncoming traffic during a show. All because she liked a band they did not approve. Today though, we have an antifa problem on our hands. Antifa fears another Roof massacre, which is what pushes them forward. It’s not their only motivation, but Roof is one of the spectres in their collective nightmare.

And finally, there was a time when ideas such as a modern day secession would be discussed openly and freely. Sure, there would be some pushback, but there were still plenty of people who would, at the very least, give us the benefit of the doubt. I used to discuss these ideas in college. Much of it consisted of discussing the Constitution and states’ rights, instead of defending Dixians as an ethnic group. It was not all that long ago that a candidate, as mainstream as Mike Huckabee, would defend those who flew the Confederate flag. I would be hard pressed to find a single viable presidential candidate doing this today.

And yes, I know our enemies have been going after Dixie and her symbols for longer than anyone reading this has been alive. Roof did not create that. But, what he did do is give our enemies the greatest gift they could have asked. It revealed how easy it was to tear down the Confederate flag and engage in cultural genocide. As soon as it became clear that Dixians were willing to give up their flag, the Left smelled blood and has been feasting ever since. Roof didn’t trigger a war, he caused a cultural capitulation.

But, more importantly, the level of misanthropy that goes into this line of thought disturbs me greatly. I don’t hate blacks, Hispanics, Jews or Yankees (maybe that last one a little bit). I simply love Dixie and the Dixian people and want what is best for them, which I believe is independence. That is why I am a Southern Nationalist. I want no harm to come to non-Dixians and wish them well. But, they are not my people.

And besides, every post someone makes praising Roof, and others like him, brings them closer to being in serious trouble. Calling Roof a hero can only lead to a white van showing up at your house one day. It can also lead to problems for those who make an effort not to Fedpost, as we are lumped in via guilt by association. Maybe you don’t care, maybe you’re a NEET and unemployment is not a threat to you. For others, it is terrifying – they have a family to take care of. And, if you love your people, you will not want to put your people in such a situation. Those violent posts will also be gathered and used to discredit the entire movement, painting us all as a bunch of violent malcontents, further driving people away. Absolutely nothing good came from Roof and nothing good will come as a result of praising him.

Dixie will never be freed by the deaths of innocent black people. She will be freed when her sons and daughters unite. So, go on and call me a mint julep sipping and boat shoe wearing cuck. Mint juleps are delicious and, while I do love boat shoes, I much prefer spectator shoes. It all beats being in jail for posting a bomb threat online.

  1. The responses soon came in, and while most of them were reasonable and thoughtful, far more people used the occasion to opine on how heroic and “saintly” Roof was,…

The above reads like a contradiction – which is it: (a) most responses were reasonable and thoughtful, or (b) far more people used the occasion to opine on how heroic and saintly Dylann Roof is? It can’t be both at the same time; the rules of logic won’t allow for it.

    (b) is closer to the truth, but enough about that.

I disagree with your assertion that the driving force behind Antifa is “fear” that another or similar mass shooting will occur. I think you at least slightly misunderstand the nature of our enemy. They don’t fear it; they long for it. They long for another mass shooting because, to their mucked up minds, every one of these things that occurs is just more confirmation of their mucked up beliefs. And the more casualties the better.

People drawn to movements like Antifa are twisted and lunatics, dude. They are, indeed, as twisted, if not more so, than the Dylann Roof worshippers you ridicule in this “piece,” assuming for the sake of argument (and only for the sake of argument!) that the posters in question aren’t really government plants trying to draw out a few of those “thousands lurking in the shadows” I spoke of under Mr. Martin’s post. This is why I consciously choose not to engage such idiots. I admit to sometimes being tempted to engage them, but self-restraint is a strong virtue, I’ve found. Even if they are “true believers” in everything they are saying about Roof and Crusius, et al, they’re still just trolling us and that’s all they’re doing. And you know the saying about that:

    Don’t feed the trolls.

  2. Ignore the fed posters or delete their comments if you’re worried about getting shut down, but don’t make a shibboleth out of proving you’re not a sociopath. Its just takes space away from positive posting. From now on I’m just going to assume ID writers aren’t planning mass murder and skip these articles.

  3. Way off base.Antifa is funded by Jewish money and are brainwashed idiots who think they are fighting the power when instead they are its pawns. How absurd to suggest that Antifa’s controllers fear another Roof type event, that is exactly what they engineer and exploit. As far as Roof causing capitulation on the great CSA flag, that too is absurd.Jewish power has worked for decades to undermine White Christian Southern peoples and their culture and it is not some minor event which causes it.They slowly promoted race mixing over the years and now push it openly with blonde women and Black male in almost every other commercial or program. The same with perverse homosexuality, they slowly introduced it into tv/movies and always made them victims deserving of public support. They control the media…thus everything! The media AND education AND corporations! They didn’t need Roof to sink the Confederate flag because they had already brainwashed our youth to either ignore or hate their White heritage. They took off the Dukes of Hazzard,so what.If our great culture is encapsulated in some cheesey Jew produced tv show then we were already lost.So they had a CSA flag on the car, what else about them shouted out White culture? We already lost, they are merely showing us they have the power.A White man says the slightest thing and is fired and homeless but Jews,Blacks,Asians,Hispanics etc mock Whites daily and no mention much less penalty. They have already won! They talk about White supremacy yet Whites are the one group with zero power. But you can’t criticize the real power, the Jews or whoever the Jews decree you can’t criticize. And I know all about trolls who make blatant and inflammatory statements, hell even a novice can pick them out.Why even worry about trolls merely ignore them.My point is that you give too much credit to an event like Roof when the course of events has already been decided by the rulers.Do you think if Roof didn’t exist they wouldn’t have created him or that suddenly millions of Whites would suddenly love their race and heritage and with great zeal reclaim their homeland.Like Rogeru said why worry so much about what the enemy thinks of you.You will never be servile enough to gain their favor. Also the SPLC was very powerful decades before Roof and funded by Jewish millions, please do your research and not seem like a dilettante. You really write like someone who is already defeated and lost and who is being very careful not to offend those who oppress him. What have you done to save Dixie? Why are they trash for fighting back? Are you not trash for writing tepid pieces about how the South will magically rise when you know it won’t and you are content to let Blacks and Browns impregnate your daughters without even a whimper. So you keep on attacking those who fought back when you know full well that our gun rights, flags, heritage, basic rights, culture and race were slated to be taken away regardless. If a Black shoots 10 people in Alabama tonight then the media ignores it.If 33 of the last 37 mass shooters were Blacks, they media never mentions it.But if a White does something they magnify it and make it a bludgeon to beat us down with.So you bitching about Roof matters not a whit, they make up the facts and their agenda moves forward. Can’t you see this.Nothing you or I do will change this. The Bible foretold all of this brought to us by the Synagogue of Satan.Yet you are here on your high horse calling others trash and thinking you are this superior White Southern hero. You really have no discernment.

  4. Also I might add that for someone to be fired for posting a photo with the Confederate flag then one must see that our power had been lost for quite some time. This massive shift of power from the ruling Jews to us occurred decades ago,it didn’t happen overnight or because of one event. The are just now truly showing you the fruits of their decades of hidden work.Use your mind.We didn’t lose because of one person or event. The have defeated us incrementally.First they take our right to secede and all that goes with a sovereign state. Then they decide who we can rent or sale to.Then who our children must go to school with(that loss should have told us it was over). Then no Lord or Jesus in schools. Then they decide what our kids learn(not our values). Then homosexual perversion forced upon us.They after all this they take away your beloved Duke boys and then you get angry.Maybe if there were more fighters and less moaners we wouldn’t have come to this. And ask yourself what it means when a few Confederate flags fly in a few spots when we have lost the real prize, our land and right to continue our race and culture. The flags mean nothing if we cant even dictate what our childrens minds are filled with. You are worried and minute things like a symbolic flag when everything else has been lost.I enjoyed the Dukes of Hazzard myself but I was never as dull nor shallow to equate it with true Southern culture.I mean it really potrayed Southerners as backward, stupid and corrupt. After all even the honest Dukes were making alcohol which poisons our people(I’ve always supported banning booze because it is nothing but a destroyer of our people, there is no safe amount). If I were you I’d pray for wisdom before I wrote anymore illconceived articles.

  5. And my last sentence suggesting your pray for wisdom was in no way suggesting you stop writing. But learn to write well.Learn to serve the cause you claim to care about.Gain perspective on events.Learn history and how history is distorted. When you call people trash then how does that create solidarity. There are the obvious trolls who say outrageous things but even worse are the people who work against a cause by creating ill will amongst the people.I really am starting to believe this site is infiltrated by people who dislike White people. And I mean the article writers not the blatant trolls. You have the freedom to write what you want but I also have the freedom to stop visiting Identity Dixie.I liked this site a great deal when I first discovered it but it has really gone downhill fast.I may check back in 6 months but for now I’ve had enough of the self-defeating Christian Zionist writers.

    1. Well, we’re all a little crazy in our own way. *sigh*

I labored through Old Pap’s comments, and he seems to be pretty close to right about most of what he says. When I say I “labored through” his comments, that is exactly what I mean. It took some unnecessary work to read through his sentences, which all run together since he fails to insert spacing between the elements of his sentences as well as between the sentences as individual wholes (to say nothing for the lack of paragraph breaks). Most people who write like that don’t bother to capitalize or punctuate either, so give Old Pap at least that much credit; that he does at least do that much in his comments is the only reason I bothered to read his otherwise rambling sentences in the first place.

Old Pap: Do you enjoy listening to people verbally ramble on and on about … whatever the hell it is they are rambling about, barely taking time to catch another breath between words and phrases and sentences? Do you even listen to the half of what such persons are saying before you get frustrated and just “tune them out”? Neither do I. Neither, in point of fact, do most normal people. Why, then, would you do it in written communications in a blog combox? Is it not at least as important, if not even more so, to avoid doing so in writing as it is to avoid doing so in verbal communications?

Well, anyway, I think I only had one major disagreement (and several minor ones) with what you wrote. None of which I really care to argue about since I already know that if you can’t figure out why we oppose the advocacy and virtual deification of these nut jobs walking into a church or a Wal-Mart or whatever and indiscriminately murdering a bunch of unarmed non-combatants in cold blood, then no amount of arguing with you on my part would ever serve to convince you you are dead wrong on the point.

    2. Sure is curious the way every single space after a period or comma is stripped from his comments, like they were being copy/pasted from templates or something.
