Where’s My Jetpack?

It’s cliché, but it’s 2019. Nothing has changed in 20 years, no real technological, philosophical, or societal advancements have been made in that time. For a society so hellbent on progress and fancy toys, you would think Heritage America would have noticed. No, nothing has changed, not for the better anyway. All the progress we got sold growing up never bloomed or blossomed into anything actually positive. I know someone can respond with, “That’s just like, your opinion, man.” But, look around you? Is this the bill of goods we were sold?

In a sense, it did grow – society did progress, but not in the way we imagined. Instead of coming to life in the cycle of something like a rose, we have gone through a managed decline, more akin to that of a decomposing corpse. There are noticeable changes, but the only light at the end of the tunnel is when the stink finally fades and all that remains of the facade of progress and advancement is the bones of the narcissistic, the arrogant, and the hubris-filled societies that walked down this godless road. This isn’t “end times” preaching, the data and signs are there. We live in the declining American Empire.

A common aphorism is, “The path to Hell is paved with good intentions.” What good have our intentions brought us since the time of the Enlightenment? They say before the Enlightenment the world was full of ignorance and superstition. What’s been the defining theme, or cultural myth and cornerstone, in the modern world? Genocide and “equality,” mostly. If that wasn’t the case, why is some form of the two screeched about on a daily basis or mandated in school curriculum?

Liberté, égalité, fraternité.

Liberation? From what? Presumably, from our virtues, ethics, history, culture, self and God.

Equality? The very people who subscribe to this notion are second-class citizens in their own countries. They languish in unemployment, dead-end jobs, opiate addiction and find themselves in despair.

Fraternity? How many people know, really know, their neighbors? People don’t know each other and don’t want to know. I make a point to talk to one of my neighbors, we just ask how each other are doing and talk about the weather, but it’s more than your typical normies do. How many men have actual friends, real genuine friends, now? Most are so isolated they wouldn’t know what a friend looked like.

It’s 2019, nothing has progressed. The technology is the same – it’s just smaller, more sleek, fragile and costs twice as much. Nothing has improved. We have smaller and smaller micro processors until we have 16 cores on a CPU, but all that does is make it where it can run more slightly intensive programs at once. Virtual reality is fake and gay, they promised people jetpacks and flying cars but gave us jerk off VR coffins and wireless headphones. We can make a TikTok video and consider ourselves the apex of human evolution, while denouncing our ancestors as ignorant monsters that navigated by the stars and read Latin. Meanwhile, half the country’s adults can’t read at an eighth-grade level.

We haven’t been to space, not really. The system was already trying to collapse in the 1980s. It’s now mothballed. All the space race stuff was propaganda to sell you a product that would never exist. So few people have been to space that their testimony in 40 years will be viewed as white supremacists mythology. The impact of the Faustian mentality of constant growth, conquest, and expansion is gone. We, especially the American Empire, the Anglosphere and the West, have reached the metaphorical precipice of the mountain. We sacrificed so much, but have no way to come back down without a long and dangerous tumble. We never cleaned up after ourselves or planned for our posterity. We rejected a genuine and noble aristocracy and wonder why craven charlatans sell out our people.

The promise for power, cool gadgets, “take the oil,” subservience to foreign powers, democracy and insatiable consumerism was all it took for the Empire to sell the souls of its subjects. Our Navy cannot operate without embarrassments at sea. Our vaunted Army hasn’t won a war in over seventy years. The Marines launched a new recruitment slogan called, “Battles Won.” From what I’ve seen, it’s mostly the same tired propoganda from years ago, only aimed at our wives, sisters, and daughters. This is a sick empire grasping for more cannon fodder in the endless wars racket.

Everything: bugman technology, consuming variations of the same Marvel movie dozens of times, pornography addiction, degenerate television and music, voluntary childlessness, involuntary celibacy, cultural suicide, etc. All these things are the natural progression from liberté, égalité, fraternité. We now have – lunatic freaks, acceptance of public defecation, the opioid crisis, drag queens reading to children, widespread Muslim rape gangs, the pimped to porn pipeline, the normalization of the perversion of marriage, rampant atheism and mandatory hatred of the past.

We got sold a Syd Mead future and all we got was fentanyl, smartphone addiction and dog moms. Where’s my jetpack?
