Abortion within the American Nations

The American Empire is on the decline. As such, it’s kicked the abortion football to the states, to which, we now see the various cultural-ethnic nations battling it out. This cultural war, in this sense truly cultural, is very clearly seen through the map of Colin Woodard. While his map and ideas aren’t perfect, it does draw interesting flags on the abortion issue.

Yankeedom

For starters, we see Yankeedom come out of the gate as extremely pro-infanticide. In fact, they have doubled down on abortion. All of New England (as well as New York) is pro-abortion on the state level. Those against it are a helpless minority who will likely never see the end of this horrible practice. Michigan and Wisconsin may seem like exceptions, but under a better light, really aren’t, either. Wisconsin only has abortion mostly banned due to a pre-Roe v. Wade law, which Democrat state officials swear they won’t even enforce. This shows a key Yankee trait – that they are always the ones to move the goal posts rather than to stand on any solid value other than “progress and enlightenment.” Michigan is very similar with its own pre-Roe v. Wade law with state officials also promising not to enforce it. These two states have upcoming governor races that will likely decide the issue. Despite fanfare and hype for MAGA, my gut feeling is Democrats (Yankeedom’s modern party) will win. Thus, solidly building a wall of baby murder in their nation-states.

Far West, El Norte, and the Left Coast

The Left Coast, much like Yankeedom, is firmly pro-abortion. While not a necessarily large geographical nation, the region does make this up with its massive numbers. This explains how California, Washington and Oregon have all gone full infanticide with the fall of Roe v. Wade. It should be noted that the Left Coast has colonized many key spots in the Far West, generally a conservative nation, transforming Colorado and Nevada into hot beds of abortion. It should also be noted that a key weakness of the Far West is its low population – making them far easier to colonize than more populated states in the east. It should also be said that the Far West isn’t as socially conservative as Appalachia and the Deep South. This explains why a red state in the Far West, like Montana, has something as vile as abortion protected in its constitution. Likewise, if you oppose tranny drag queen hour in Idaho (another Far West state), you’ll be rounded up by the local police. Overall, this issue highlights the political weakness of the Far West as an effective ally of Dixie. In many ways, they are extremely vulnerable, and they bring little to the table in helping us.

New France, Appalachia, and the Deep South

These three nations make up the majority of Dixie and we see the correlation to the American Nations theory. Appalachia and the Deep South, strongly and rightfully, oppose murder of the unborn. Therefore, abortion in the Deep South is pretty much eliminated with the minor exception of Florida. However, one should remember the transplants hailing from Yankeedom and the Midlands, not to mention the Hispanics, who are overall social moderates, in South Florida. I fully believe that DeSantis, likely after his re-election, will move against abortion. This will effectively put abortion on the banned route come 2023. As far as New France, this nation is largely divided along the southern coastal counties of Louisiana and Maine. Mainly Cajuns, in and out of New Orleans, and traditional Catholics, this will unite New France with the Deep South to oppose infanticide.

The Tidewater and Midlands

It should be known that, for now, the Tidewater is defending abortion. North Carolina is split between Tidewater and Appalachia. Obviously, blacks and carpetbaggers from the Midlands and Yankeedom have affected what otherwise would be a swift ban. I do believe if North Carolina Republicans (nowadays, a party largely of Appalachian folk and Southerners) can retake the governorship in 2023, we could see an end of abortion in the Tar Heel state. Virginia may be able retake the abortion issue if the Republican Party can regain control of the Commonwealth’s legislature and turn back progressive gains. Maryland is sadly lost due to her proximity to the Imperial Capital. It should be known that the Midlands are largely only dominant in Pennsylvania, a key swing state which voted for Biden in 2020. This nation is very spread out and is known for being egalitarian, though less authoritarian and controlling than Yankee Proper, very much due to evolving from Quakerism. I personally believe Biden did actually win the state. It should be remembered this nation was fiercely against slavery, thus the South. They are also known for naively thinking people are naturally “good,” despite the Bible clearly stating otherwise. It should come as no surprise that this odd nature led to a Democrat governor and a Republican state legislature. The Midlands have always been weak due to a diversity of ideas that makes it naturally divided on issues like abortion. I fully believe, like with Yankeedom states in the Rust Belt, the governor election will ultimately settle the issue in Pennsylvania. My bets are on the Democrat winning this race.

I think the lesson from this isn’t that “America is undergoing a Christian Nationalist takeover,” as American Firsters and the media claim. Instead, this is a case of the American Empire’s highest court kicking an issue back to the states. The original intention of the Union was to let states decide on these issues, not the federal government. However, the current system is adapted to go back to this federation style. Thus, you will see polarization and division similar to Civil War America. The federal government didn’t get “more based or Christian” leading up to 1860, rather it became more dysfunctional and divided. Does this sound familiar?

Instead of giving legitimacy to the American reformers (the submissionists), this abortion issue actually gives credence to Southern Nationalism. It’s actually the South, not the country as a whole, that is becoming more reactionary on the abortion issue. The federal government, on the other hand, is looking to force homosexualism, as well as promote miscegenation, on the entire country. We should be ready to challenge the American Nationalists on any of these mighty claims that “they’re retaking America” because, last time I looked around, the widespread degenerate garbage of today would have never been legal in the South. Put down your ugly eagle and put up the cross, both the Christian cross and the Saint Andrew’s cross!

  1. Thanks for this piece. Your closing lines reminded me of a poem that should be appreciated by ID readers:

    In Dura Catena

    by Emily Virginia Mason

“Chain the eagle and veil his eyes!
    Torture him dumb and dim!
For how were the foul and base of soul
    Free, till they fettered him!

Bind him! Blind him! Blacken him. Yea,
    Blight him forevermore!
Brothers! doubt, if the bird ye cage
    Was ever so free, before.

Never a flight so near the stars
    Never a gaze so clear
To meet the flush of a lovelier dawn
    In a loftier atmosphere.

Brothers! judge if your dungeon’s depth
Grow bright in his cloudless fame
Brothers! doubt if the shadow of death
Be dark to your midnight shame.

Ah, my Brothers! The world has lost
Its grace and worth! ‘Tis time
Ye planted a cross for love to clasp,
    For loyalty to climb.”

  2. If and when a state – Florida, Texas, whatever – decides to secede (which I definitely believe will happen, sooner or later and likely within my lifetime), others will follow suit, with civil war soon to follow. If the US initially balkanized into four or five separate nations, inevitably it would become a power struggle between the two most powerful nations (the South & Greater Yankeedom) and the rest would pick their side to join. So, essentially it will turn into a North vs. South war between the states again. That is the way I see it playing out, with no possibility of long term peaceful separation. I’m too familiar with history and human nature to ever grant that possibility. But anyway…

I seem to recall that Woodard himself acknowledges in the introduction or foreword to his book that his maps are likely not perfectly accurate. I know the one that heads the article is flawed as far his extending Appalachia as far west as he does in my state (OK). I’ve written before that one can, with more accuracy, draw a line through the state beginning in the NE corner and extending to the SW corner of the state, with a slight arc westward through the center. The actual SW terminus of the line/arc would fall on the western terminus of Jefferson Co., if one were attempting to be as accurate as possible. That being the case, I believe that Oklahoma would ultimately split, with its counties falling to the south and east of our imaginary line going with the Greater South, and the other “half” going with Greater Yankeedom. In any case, the abortion does help to clue us in to how the sides will likely organize for the fight.

Regarding the eagle, I have read numerous books about Andersonville that were written by actual inmates. In at least two of the accounts (John Ransom’s & Lessel Long’s), mention is made of their guards trying to trade them out of the buttons on their uniforms. Here is a quote from Ransom’s on the subject that always cracks me up when I think about it:

June 18, 1864 – Rebels are anxious to get hold of Yankee buttons. “Buttons with hens on,” they inquire for. An insult to the American Eagle – but they don’t know any better.

Of course it was the intention of the guards to insult the American eagle. I think I’ll take to calling it a hen as well. LOL

    Good article!

  3. if wolmen don’t want babies, medicaid and other insurance will pay for sterilization. Women that have repeated abortions at planned parenthood tend to be low classed hookers and using drugs.

  4. “The Left Coast, much like Yankeedom, is firmly pro-abortion.”

The Left Coast are Yankeedom’s Pacific Rim colonies. However, the Inland Empire are on our side, although politically weak. Like us.

“It should come as no surprise that this odd nature led to a Democrat governor and a Republican state legislature.”

This is a chief political trait of Yankees. They do this in order to “balance things out.” Which is why their voting habits and near monopoly on electoral votes, spells continual doom for the Southern People, as long as we’re chained to the rotting corpse that is the North.

    End Reconstruction. End the War.
