This Country is Cursed

But you do not have to be.

It is not that the land that we reside on is fundamentally cursed, but that the people that work the land are cursed.

Heritage Americans have been gifted so much: prosperity, familial inheritance, charity, faith, justice, the message of the Gospel, and on and on.

But many of those very same people have revoked all of it.

I look at many in the older generations today and see nothing but shells. They, like their forefathers, were given so much. And they’ve not only squandered it but also broken the heritage that came with them from centuries ago. They chase after meaningless pursuits of more money or prestige instead of family or Christ. When they do seek after the latter, it’s merely to check the box. They are Pharisees following the traditions of man; or the lukewarms who have lost their first love.

Not all, of course, but many. Now the children – our younger generation – have adopted the sins of the father. As is only natural for the cycle of man.

And we wonder why it seems like God has cursed this land? I propose the opposite question: Why wouldn’t He?

He is just, so we should expect chastisement. He is punishing our people exactly as he punished the Israelites of old. The harshest realization is that we deserve every ounce of it. Look around you and see the average American. Are they deserving of a prosperous legacy?

We kill millions of our own children every year. Those we don’t kill, we call transgender so we can mutilate them or pump full of ADHD/antidepressant meds. We are idolatry central with genuflection toward famous people, the worship of scientism, craving for the environmentalist cults, reverence to the “experts” (man) and so on. I mean, our land is even the foundational ground of the great spiritual degenerations of the 1800s (Mormons, Jehovah’s Witnesses, dispensationalism, etc.), which is even continuing into the modern day with oneness Pentecostals (gnostics) and literal theology known as “prosperity gospel” (i.e.: worship of Mammon). Even many of our right-wingers are secular materialists. We’re completely estranged.

We are no different from the chosen line who was gifted everything but equally denied everything. What was their result? They were carried off by Babylon. Then later branched off with the majority regarded as the synagogue of Satan.

Now, we are Babylon. And thus, our people are equally cursed, and likely destined for destruction, because they will not repent.

God punishes those who have received the message and denied it much harsher in this life than those who have not yet heard it. What country has been given more of the message, more instruction, or more chances than our own?

Honestly, I don’t think there is another country with more. We are it. And we are not bearing any fruits from it. Quite the opposite, actually. Our primary exports are degeneracy and anti-Christs. Which means we are the Israelites of old. Those that intimately knew the truth but walked away.

This union began with blood, and it will end with blood. Isaiah 3 explains our predicament quite well:

⁸ For Jerusalem stumbled,
And Judah is fallen,
Because their tongue and their doings
Are against the Lord,
To provoke the eyes of His glory.
⁹ The look on their countenance witnesses against them,
And they declare their sin as Sodom;
They do not hide it.
Woe to their soul!
For they have brought evil upon themselves.

¹⁰ “Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them,
For they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
¹¹ Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him,
For the reward of his hands shall be given him.
¹² As for My people, children are their oppressors,
And women rule over them.
O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err,
And destroy the way of your paths.”

Those of us trying to hold the remnant together know Isaiah’s lamentations intimately, even if we have not yet read them. They sound familiar to our own mournings for our people.

I encourage you to distance yourself from our modern Sodom. And take a note from Lot’s wife – Don’t look back in desire once it burns. Just be thankful that it is finally gone.

The only question is if we can balkanize and secure a plot for the faithful remnant before that happens.

While God punishes the nation, he always protects his remnant.

Be that remnant. No matter where you are.

This country is cursed. But you can – and must – rise above it.
