The Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) is a political weapon, designed to target conservative dissent and ensure the perpetuation of narratives directed by a leftist cabal. It has lost every shred of credibility. That sentiment is not mine alone. It is shared by millions of Americans, including more than half of so-called conservatives based upon recent polling. The entire bureau is a rat’s nest of traitors to the Constitution. The worst part of those preceding statements? The institutional rot worn by every member of the modern American version of the Stasi is simply a symptom of a bigger disease. Like all law enforcement, they are only following orders, and no one should expect the courage to stand up and risk a pension for the sake of morality. This is not a new phenomenon. It was endemic throughout the communist world. Prepare to either fight or survive a Marxist conclusion. This article will discuss lessons of survival.
Before I begin, let me address the inevitable allegations of cowardice that this article will solicit from the “Keyboard Kommandos” within the Dissident Right. Only three types would advocate for a “fighting solution” online: Fools, Freaks, or Feds. The fools like to talk a big game, advertising their anger, and finding themselves on a watch list that makes their disarmament by means of a red flag law all but certain. Such fools will undoubtedly thank a police officer for his service while they kick his door down and shoot his dog for advocating violence in the comment section below. You do not have freedom of speech in the United States, and even if you did, threatening government agencies is never a good idea – no matter how justified you may feel. Meanwhile, the freaks are just mentally or emotionally handicapped individuals, sincerely seeking a war simply for the sake of acting out a video game fantasy. Few, if any of them, have seen a real war up close and personal. Finally, there are our favorite readership body, the Feds. They enjoy stirring the pot, hoping that one of our readers will follow the path of those poor characters that discussed the Whitmer kidnapping or angered to the point of shooting up a bunch of blacks or Jews. Feds need targets. Do not easily give them one. If you are on any spectrum of the political Right, it is never a good idea to advertise your plans. After all, you are not the government sanctioned antifa. Now, getting back to the article’s main theme, surviving a Marxist government.
The other night, I had supper with a number of Eastern European friends and American military officers. We half-joked as to how ironic it would be to seek refuge in Poland, Hungary, or Romania, from an oppressive communist regime. The military officers, diehard Constitutional conservatives who do not yet subscribe to my racial, religious, or political beliefs, openly lamented the current morale in the U.S. military. Some of these men have decades of experience. Every single one of them plan to leave the military before they complete their thirty years. It is not the military they joined, and they are well aware of the leftist extremism infecting the American Armed Forces like a virus devastating the vital organs of its victim. Raw emotion poured out as the night and drinks loosened tongues. The Eastern Europeans, however, were more cerebral about the end of the United States.
One victim of communist oppression described how her parents swam to safety during a daring nighttime escape. Another described being a little boy during the early stages of the final overthrow of brutal totalitarian Marxist, Nicolae Ceausescu. Yet another was the son of a laborer who was arrested with several other laborers for planning a strike. His father disappeared and was assumed dead, until confirmation of his internment was received by the family about three years later. His father ultimately served nine years in prison for anti-communist activities. Ironic that after nearly two years since a mostly peaceful protest at the Capitol, some Americans still await a trial, tortured by guards, while others rot in prisons. America is dead.
One woman, however, had a different take on the communist regime within which she grew up. She was raised in what can best be described as an exurban location. Her father worked as a low-level bureaucrat and was a member of the Communist Party. They had a small, collective farm along with several other families. They were entirely oblivious to the urban nightmares playing out not far from her father’s ministerial office. They never endured bread lines or substantial privation. Certain things were difficult to get, but her father’s party comrades would ensure they were obtained before non-party members could access such goods. In essence, hers was a blissful ignorance. It was not until she arrived in West Germany, after the collapse of the communist regime in her country, that she realized how poor she had been. It was then that she learned through cousins all that had happened in the major cities within in her country… the extrajudicial killings… the oppressive raids and arrests… the struggling dissidents… information hidden by a complicit, state-run media.
It was at that point that we began to discuss survival. It was an interesting conversation. To begin, the general idea was one in which seeming compliance was a daily ritual. No one expressed opinions. Even mundane observations could solicit an immediate response by government officials. If the bread lines were long, this was simply a sacrifice for the global proletariat. If the apartment was cold, this was a chance to get closer to one another. Suffering in silence became an art form. Worse, however, were suffering the indignities of men in authority who could have someone arrested and imprisoned for simply alleging sexual misconduct. This was especially true in factories, whereby occasional managers and supervisors enjoyed “perks” from female subordinates. When the United States finally goes full leftist, silent humiliation will be your new reality.
Another facet of life in the Eastern Bloc was bartering. One of the East German survivors of communism explained that her parents were always looking to trade. It was a necessity. Finding value, preserving/repairing older goods, and making small deals was an important facet of overcoming material deficits. She descried how she lacked feminine hygiene products when she had her first menstruation. Her mother bartered to get them, because the male-dominated and controlled economy rarely considered such needs when stocking shelves. Be ready to find, make, repair, or trade for that which you will need.
One positive of communist states is the near elimination of homosexuality and other forms of sexual degeneracy. Contrary to inaccurate narratives in the Dissident Right, the Bolsheviks were outrageous sexual degenerates. The general rule as it pertained to LGBT+ activity was one in which all forms of intercourse was allowed, to include gender and sexual identity. The problem that arose in the former Soviet Union was military readiness and a need for masculinity as a contributing construct of the state’s success. Consequently, Stalin outlawed homosexuality by 1933. All forms of sexual depravity were crushed by 1934. The result was that none of those with whom I had supper were aware of the outlandish immorality of sexual excesses in the early Bolshevik era. From behind the Iron Curtain, by the 1970s and 1980s, homosexual deviancy was an embarrassment unique to the libertine West and remains so till today. Thankfully, being heterosexual will go a long way toward surviving a communist regime.
Growing your own food, without soliciting communist attention, is critically important for those wishing to survive Marxist “utopias.” In effect, subsistence farming becomes an important means of survival. To do so, however, you will need to live away from the cities and within exurban and rural areas. The different experiences between ruralites and urbanites from the Eastern Bloc was telling. Not at this supper gathering, but at a meeting I held in Tashkent almost ten years ago, an Azeri colleague and a Slovakian dignitary discussed their experiences with former Soviet state cohorts. The Azeri stated that he ate well, his family was largely untouched, and they went about their business, living primarily off of the land, local traditional bakers, and other growers in his immediate area. They lived in a rural location. By contrast, the Slovakian who grew up in Bratislava absolutely despised communism. He remembered going without basic food necessities for long periods of time, brutal winters, and constant warnings by his parents and grandparents to keep his mouth shut and his eyes open. The Uzbeks said little, effectively residing in an extension of the Soviet Union, by means of the president at the time, Islam Karimov. Growing herbs, recognizing onion grass, making soups, and understanding the nature of berries are all crucial survival tools for those living in a repressive communist regime.
This brings me back to the other conversation we had about communism, which was faith. The Romanians described Christianity in communist Romania as a personal faith, one in which churches existed, but were not trusted, therefore prayers and Orthodox incantations were mostly private affairs. This was similarly described by a Hungarian. The East German knew nothing of Christ and grew up primarily agnostic – believing that something bigger was out there, with the term “God” largely filling a linguistic void for that something. She became more religious when she arrived in the United States many years later and married a Croatian. All agreed that the general mantra of the regime effectively boiled down to “trust the science” and “God is dead.”
The current mantra of the political Left regarding Covid lockdowns and so-called climate change were very familiar to everyone. The repression of Christian worship throughout the United States in 2020 and “trust the science” was nearly identical to that which the East German recalled throughout her early life. It was familiar to Russians, as well. A professed Russian atheist with whom I worked for decades was on a flight with me when we almost crashed into the Ala-Too mountains. He began making the sign of the Cross in the Russian Orthodox way. Knowing he was an atheist, after the flight, I asked him why he made the sign of the Cross. His response: “I do not believe in God, but I am willing to keep all of my options open.” When he and I laughed about that over a Skype call in late 2020, he mentioned how shocked he was to see Americans embracing extreme Marxist positions on faith. Apparently, the Russian news aired stories of American government officials and police officers closing churches when people needed faith more than ever, while ignoring their own closures. The irony was not that they were doing the same thing. Rather, that we – Americans – were so much heavier handed, to include the arrest of Christian ministers. If you want to survive in a communist regime, keep your Christian voice to a minimum.
This all comes back to the future the Marxist Left desires and will likely get for the United States. We all agreed at supper, along with the military officers in our party, that the United States will be communist. Many of the Eastern Europeans are keeping their escape options open. They see the future by means of a lived wisdom. Acknowledging the fact that we – Americans – might have to flee to Russia or Romania to escape communism brought forth an ironic laugh.
I guarantee a Marxist conclusion for the United States. It is well on its way in neighboring Canada. There will be no escape to our north. To the south, in Mexico, we are offered an infernal landscape. A future communist United States awaits you, for a key reason: big business and big government believed they could weaponize socialism to install a more compliant, consumer-oriented populace, but they do not truly understand the nature of the weapon they chose. The Marxist Left will not accept half measures. The pandora’s box our elites opened will not be eternally satisfied by images of fat black women in Nike sneakers, eating McDonalds, and driving Teslas. They want the end of Western Civilization, and the useful idiots are giving it to them. BlackRock’s utilization of social credit scoring – entitled “Environmental, Social, and Governance Standards” (ESG) – will eventually be used to dismantle and destroy everyone within BlackRock. But first they need to eliminate the Christian Right. That is coming to the United States. Consequently, it would be best for the South to leave the United States to their own, hellish future.
If you wish to avoid the future I just described, there is no American path. It is time to build a Christian fortress on North America. That is called what it has always been: an Independent and Free Dixie. The only way to survive a Marxist regime is secession.

Great post again. Yes secession but it’ll either be divide down the middle or “Balkanization.” Balkanization or, “Restructuring” would be easier to implement. A few thoughts :
* Get the people to want it … especially the left.
* Sell the sizzle, not the steak. A “Utopia for everyone.”
* The CSA II MUST BE ALL WHITE … or we’re wasting our time.
* WE need “an unofficial conservative white Confederate SHADOW GOVERNMENT BODY” to massage CSA II into existence AND TO POLICE THE COMMUNISTS WITHIN OUT OF POWER. Small groups of guys a lot like your friends … so no FEDS are in. Keep in mind almost every appliance and gadget has a microphone though … and everyone needs to get off Gaybook.
* You need $$$$$
* We need the conversation to become regular table talk in every white Christian home.

This very morning I remarked that we’re living in the old Soviet Union. The occasion was that IRS reporting requirements for 401k plans have multiplied like rabbits, as though they are trying just to trip you up. A return that used to take a few minutes to complete now takes days. It is intimidating, a reminder that you live under an oppressive regime just chomping at the bit to throw you in a van.
Unrelated but just to vent – in 1Q2022 I had positions in Russian oil and bank stocks. Then, out of nowhere, I was declared to be trading with the enemy. On the orders of the United States, my stocks were impounded by the custodian, one of the big banks. I cannot earn dividends any longer. I cannot even sell them; the shares were simply confiscated. Do you sue for an unconstitutional taking? Not on your life. Taking the L and moving on, older, wiser, and keeping my head very much down. What a farce this “country” is.
If you would like to find a pastor who gets what is happening to this country, LibertyFellowshipMT.com.
Pastor Chuck Baldwin delivers a sermon every Sunday at approximately 2:30 mst. Make his acquaintance.
I have, and you’re quite right!
Great and timely article, prepping to survive without outside help, or at least as much as possible.
Whatever happened to “Better dead than red”?
Perhaps that idea died with a heartier, braver generation.
Padraig, I sadly agree with your prediction that the US will go communist. We are in no position to stop that from happening. We are just going to have to watch it all go down before our eyes and no wannabe Rambos are going to save us. They will either run and hide or be the first ones killed or gulagged.
That said I am not convinced the next iteration of commie power will be just like the last. I am not convinced that they will “reverse the rainbow” and bring back heteronormativity. Maybe; but I’m not convinced. It’s not that big of a deal anyway.
We need to take very seriously how to prepare to survive a commie takeover and ‘d love to read more of that. One thing we need to do is homeschool, but I fear that even that option will soon be taken away. I recommend the book Obstacles Welcome to read a Cuban refugee’s story of Fidel’s takeover during his childhood and the use of public schools to dox parents and indoctrinate children. That’s not just rightwing paranoia– that’s exactly what the commies did in Cuba.

Living in the country and establishing a family homestead for survival purposes sounds like a good idea to me. We need to live and raise our children in our natural habitat anyway.
Also don’t forget about long term food storage. Beans and white rice can store for decades (probably over a century) in airtight, rodent proof containers with oxygen absorbers. Dirt cheap and darn near a complete diet. Starvation may seem like a joke today as we navigate a sea of obesity but it is a very real threat, and that threat is cheap and easy to prepare for.
I agree with this author that this country is going Communist but if we want to survive we must do one of two things. We either cut the head of the beast off like Hitler did in Nazi Germany, or for the South to secede and create a Christian based Southern Nationalist state. Now if you disagree with my so called “antisemitic” views then you need to do the research and wake the hell up! Even God tried to warn us of this Khazarian mafia in Rev. 2:9 and 3:9. It was the scripture God gave me when I pleaded with him to show me who was responsible. Wake up America or prepare to suffer under this Communist regime.
Sadly, there are still many among our own ranks who will not or cannot see this. Yet, even the father of modern Zionism had this to say:
“I believe I understand anti-Semitism, which is a very complex movement. I see it as a Jew, but without hatred or fear. I recognize what is anti-Semitism is rude jesting, vulgar jealousy of métier, hereditary prejudice, but also what can be considered as in fact legitimate defense.”
Theodor Herzl
Foreign correspondent Donald Day added that “a forest fire can’t be put out with a fire engine.”
Great article. I had a few things to add re:
“One positive of communist states is the near elimination of homosexuality and other forms of sexual degeneracy.”
According to KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov (vids on YT), this is because homosexuality is part of how communism weakens a nation for its takeover. Once a nation is taken over by communists, the first thing they do is eliminate all the degenerates and subversives that the communists created in the previous phase. I remember him saying in one of his videos that the college professor marxists were the first ones rounded up, as they were the True Believers who would cause the most problems once they saw that what they’d dedicated theirs lives to was a lie.
My prediction is that homos won’t be the only communist creation that the communists crush once coming to power. I’d bet blacks quickly become non-entities due to their almost complete lack of value in a modern society. Working class Whites and browns will likely have a blind eye turned towards them while accomplishing this.
There is no preventing the bolshevik slide of our federal government, but it is possible to create local and state regions that can negate federal overreach in their area.
