While I am not the first nor the last to write about this subject, it has been my thought to write an article about some of the destruction the digital age has wrought on our society. As a matter of fact, if we look back throughout Western history, whenever a major change in society has occurred (for better or worse, depending on your perspective) it has generally followed some major breakthrough in media distribution.
What do I mean by media distribution?
Most obviously, the first answer that will come to mind is how information is shared; however, most only consider this through the lens of digital and modern technology. One of the major developments to ever occur was the invention of the printing press. This development predates all forms of digital information distribution, yet it was the first to have a significant societal impact and, subsequently, shifted societies and cultures. Prior to it, books were hand written, production was limited, and distribution even much less. Thus, lording over books in a library made one (person, entity, or polity) powerful, as they potentially had access to information. It is for this reason that the burning of libraries or other repositories (The Great Library of Alexandria, for example) was treated as a great tragedy. The printing press flipped all of this, and now incidents like the burning of the libraries of Constantinople by the Ottoman Turks is no longer a great loss (not to negate the cultural and historical significance of such an event) due to the vast amount of information that can be transcribed and recreated reliably over and over.
But, with advancements in anything related to distribution, it always comes at a cost. It is this cost which has been ignored with the invention of records, television, and now the internet. While there were/are obvious positive aspects with them, like Martin Luther translating the Bible into German (the Luther Bible) and producing vast reprints on printing presses. However, with each step forward in mass dissemination, a bond between us becomes severed and a bit more of tradition was/is destroyed. For example, family suppers, which were once universal every night and where members talked of their lives, has largely been replaced with sitting around the television or ignoring family to play on a smartphone. Writing thoughtful letters to friends and families has been replaced with short text messages, or no messages at all.
Those of us who grew up before the modern digital age may fondly remember being “outside,” a place where one made friends, did stuff, and explored the world that physically existed around them. With the digital age, even though there is an “outside,” it might as well not exist. In general, people are always plugged in, consuming subversive propaganda that is meant to lead them to their destruction and numb their minds to their true potential. Think of how many folks spend their time with their head buried in a screen, not even for anything useful mind you, but for simply filling their head with useless information or playing meaningless online games.
Proponents of the digital age tout that we are more connected than ever, but that is one of the greatest falsehoods sold to the people. The greater issue with it, however, is how so many readily consume and digest this statement acceptingly. Instead of talking with our mouths, we talk with screens and text, or even worse with “emojis.” Real connections to a people, family, community, and physical environment have all been substituted by the “internet of things,” where falsely predicated realities can be whipped up by individuals so far removed (either in reality or physicality) that they can control people.
Through the careful slicing and dicing of information, fake narratives become reality at the whim of some shadow oligarchy (Nazis and white supremacists are under your bed at night, for example). This is why the downfall of Western society appears to have sped up so drastically, it is the massive flow of information that has drastically increased with the advent of the modern digital age. This is why the citizenry can, more or less, watch the United States decline and implode in real-time and provide commentary on issues thousands of miles away from their own home, but are largely ignorant of what’s happening around them in their city or town. Localism dies with the mass distribution of information in the modern age, normies care more about what’s happening in California or Portland than their own local school board.
The simple answer to stop this is you have to unplug, you must get those you love and care for to unplug as well. Reject modernity, embrace tradition, return to your roots, and secede in your mind. Turn off the television, put down the phone, reconnect with your family, friends, and your people.
God bless you and God bless Dixie.
I have seen three emperors in their nakedness, and the sight was not inspiring.
I read an article yesterday written by Jews celebrating “the age old tradition of Jews in theater”. Not their theaters either, by the way. It’s not a coincidence. With each development such as the printing press comes hordes of subversives that view you as prey. The South not being able to publish books while New York published all of them and controlled the methods of distribution, for instance. They saw it only as a means to inject the poison into their victims in order to dissolve them and suck up the nutrients from their decaying corpse, grim but true. They used the printing press as a weapon, books mere artillery shells. Steven King, a disgusting Yankee Marxist from Maine, makes more money than just about every other author combined, I promise you it’s not because of his talent, he has none, it is due solely to the fact that he is a disgusting hard-core Marxist Yankee from the state of Maine that feeds the money and influence back into their wepaonized printing presses.
It’s the same with all of it, who could with any honesty refer to the New York Times as a newspaper? Of course that’s not what it is. People stupidly believe that their “local” news is local, when in truth they are all subsidiaries of New York stations with employees and station managers that are very purposely not from the place they are “reporting” on. TV? Our forebears called it “the electric Jew”, which is highly accurate. Theater has been reduced to Broadway, New York. Movies? Hollywood, New Yorkers who moved to California and used their money printing press to control not only it, but the means by which they were distributed, the movie theaters. Go ahead and make a bootstrapped movie exposing the truth, they will never play it. It goes on and on, my generation had a unique cultural outlet for a brief time in video games, but no more. A Jew by the name of Anna Sorkernstein destroyed that place that young white males gather to create, compete and bond, they called it Gamergate. Now video games are gay, with speech police software on their mics.
When I was a kid in my hometown of Baton Rouge, we had a theater named the Robert E. Lee. It of course no longer exists and never will again until we are free. It’s all planned and implemented. It falls to us to document it, the process by which they do it, to develop the terminology to encapsulate each component and then other terminology that is over arching to encapsulate all of it. Then, most importantly, we have to make it teachable and incorporate it into our history, all of it.
Mainstream media is terrible cuckservitive terminology. Fake news is better, but does nothing to expose who is faking it or why. We need terminology, methodology and history. Cutting the cable cord is not enough, we need the real thing that these monsters co-oped, freedom of the press was so engrained into our founding because without it we die blind and stupid, just as is currently taking place. But before that can happen we have to solve the problem of them just subverting and stealing everything we create, such as NASCAR to Nashville and everything else. When I was younger they tried to make what they called “Hollywood South” in Baton Rouge, they built studios and everything else. It went nowhere because we all know what it means to build something like that in your home, it means death for you and having your culture stripped from you, made into a disgusting paradoy and then destroyed, along with being replaced by the horde that follows and comes in through borders forced open at gunpoint.
No Thanks.
That does not however mean we don’t need cultural outlets, news, movies and all of the rest, we do. But how to make it without having it taken from us as so many other things have been? How do we ensure that it is true to us and not another weaponized printing press? If we were not under occupation the answers are simple, we were free men and we would simply walk down there and do what men do. Under occupation the answer is much less obvious.
I will stop here because this is tied into so much else that it would be an endless comment. Sufficed to say, we must begin to educate our own children and this process of the subversion of our cultural outlets must be fleshed out and taught, redpilling a handful of people after the damage has already been done to them is an unsustainable recipe for failure.
We need news, we need books and all of the rest, we cannot just leave a void where our culture belongs. We need a thousand Robert E. Lee theaters.
