Operation Crossroads was conducted back in 1946. During this insane exercise, Bikini Atoll, a remote coral formation out in the Pacific, got flattened with two atomic bombs. That’s always struck me as a distinctly uncharitable endeavor since it was home to 167 people who’d never done anything whatsoever to cause offence to America.
In fact, they probably weren’t even clear on what America was, along with bombs and everything else, until a bunch of white people arrived on a big metal ship and informed them that the tiny sliver of real estate which comprised everything they had on this planet was going to be blasted to hell so it was time to leave.
I’ve always wondered what speech they got from whoever was assigned to do the talking. Did it go something like: “Well, we’ve already blown up a desert and two large modern cities packed with people but now we need to annihilate your 2.3 square miles because we’re curious about what would happen.”? Whatever he said, I doubt they found it very reassuring.
These dispossessed islanders make a good metaphor for bewildered Heritage Americans watching their country burn on CNN while the commentator explains to them that this needs to happen because it’s their fault. It’s simply not a saleable process to the average person for obvious reasons.
Sure, whites getting blamed for the destructive anti-civilizational behavior of blacks, whom they heavily subsidize with their tax dollars, is such an ingrained concept in American life that nobody even gets fazed by it. But, this time something is different, and not just the unprecedented scale of the mayhem.
I think a series of facts are coming into red-hot focus for the general public:
1) It’s necessary for law enforcement to police black misbehavior.
2) In the course of being policed, some blacks opt for combat with law enforcement.
3) Sometimes, the black combatant ends up deceased.
4) If there is a deceased black, then most law no longer applies to blacks for a certain period of time.
5) This will be enough time for them to loot the place and burn it down.
6) This is not a sustainable process.
7) Getting on your knees in front of blacks and acclaiming their right to perform this process is the only acceptable form of public discourse on it.
The critical problem with the establishment narrative is that this is not an acceptable rationale for destroying a somewhat viable country. They’ll never sell the average American on the merits of this process any better than the U.S. government sold those islanders on the merits of subjecting their home to a series of atomic bombings.
What Uncle Sam did sell them on, however, is that they didn’t want to stick around to experience the process of turning the place into an radioactive hunk of dead coral. Just like the islanders, Heritage Americans are reaching that level of understanding.
In a state of enforced silence, productive people are realizing it’s going to happen regardless of the moral righteousness of not wanting their municipality destroyed for no good reason. They only thing they can do in response is depart for safer locations.
That process is apparently underway. Urban real estate in ruined areas is already going on sale across the country as people realize their positions are untenable. We already saw this process with Detroit. Taxpayers realize they’ve got to sell their property while they still can and then everything falls apart.
Detroit didn’t even vote to disband its police department before it imploded. A city like Minneapolis is going to go belly up lickety-split. We can be sure they’ll get rid of most of their cops because they won’t have the revenue to pay them. America is now filled with Bikini Atolls.
I’m proud to officially announce my candidacy for the office of Dogcatcher.
On October 22, 1964, the Yankee Empire’s Atomic Energy Commission detonated a nuclear device in the Tatum Salt Dome near Baxterville, MS, 30 miles from Hattiesburg. Cancer rates have been high in the area ever since. But hey, it’s only us rednecks affected…no big deal.
Ha, great read, read The Day We bombed Utah. Absolutely insane.
The psychology of many gubmint employees is beyond comprehension for many. Remember a once esteemed organization’s motto, Be Prepared, oh they no longer exist.
Learn a truth: if you can’t put pressure on your enemy, he will do as he pleases as long as he pleases. If you believe honor will help when fighting a pack of dogs, you deserve what you get. Thats why the South lost in 1865 and every battle since then.
Minneapolis is already averaging two shootings per day, including five on a Tuesday night. This is only going to get worse as the cops of the MPD start to quit and start over somewhere less diverse.
Hanford nuclear site, south eastern Washington state, is where they made the materials for all the nukes. It is a toxic waste dump. They would just let the coolent pour into the Columbia river, the people east of the reactor are known as down winders, signifying medical conditions. Crops would grow 3 times their height, livestock would grow 2 heads and what not.
I have had intimate connections (not by design) to those South Pacific Islanders who lived around the Bikini atoll, during the blasts, it really damaged a lot of them.
They caught the illegal alien who allegedly killed the turkey hunter in Washington State. The body of the hunter, Mr. Eckles, to my knowledge, has not been found. God rest his soul.
White flight 2.0.
looks like they are charging the cop in Atlanta with murder with the possibility of the death penalty. I’ll tell ya, if Sherman came back from the grave and marched on Atlanta i would not lift a finger.
This is a very fine article, Mr. Shackleford, and quite a clever analogy.
Mr. Shackleford tells it straight…always good articles from a fellow VA Reb…
