Five Years

I honestly don’t remember much about the night of June 17, 2015, though I’m pretty sure I spent it listening to music and trolling on Facebook, but I do know I was home. What was one of the most influential days in my life, it seemed pretty uneventful at the time. That next morning, just as I was about to leave for work, I got a text from my father telling me that there had been a shooting at a black church in Charleston.

As soon as I got that text, my heart sank. First, for the lives lost – murdering people is immoral, especially in their house of worship. Second, what I feared might happen next. If it turned out to be a white guy with a grudge against black people, another debate was about to start about the Confederate flag. Even if the perp was from Boston, for this to happen in “the cradle of the Confederacy” and only a few miles from Ft. Sumter, it felt like one of the worst things that could have happened to the South. As bad as I feared things would get, it turned out to be far worse than I ever could have imagined.

It was far worse because not only was the murderer a white maniac and he picked a city heavily associated with the Confederacy, he also photographed himself with the Confederate flag, cementing that image in the minds of millions. As more and more information came in, the worse it got. Store after store announced they would no longer sell the flag. Bands that had used the flag started apologizing for it. Friends I had known for years, folks that had said nothing or even agreed with me when I would start talking about an independent Dixie, were now denouncing the flag and me.

It is impossible to overstate how quickly this single event changed everything. Before 2015, the Confederate flag was still flying often and proudly. Of course, there were some people that didn’t like it, but, for the most part, most folks didn’t care. I can remember Obama coming down to Dixie and being met with protesters waving the Confederate flag. Today, that would be unthinkable. I can remember nationalist bands visiting Dixie and literally nothing would happen. Those same bands would come to the Pacific Northwest and antifa would start a riot, including attacking the people that went to the show. In today’s hyper charged political climate, those same bands can no longer tour the U.S. – anywhere – because the venues are worried about antifa terrorism.

There may have been movies like Django Unchained and Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter, but those didn’t really change Dixie. And, in the case of the latter of those films, I can remember even normies sharing a picture of a fake poster for Jefferson Davis, Yankee Hunter. Georgia came very close to getting a governor who proposed sandblasting Stone Mountain. Before Roof, that would have been laughed off the stage. To think that someone in Dixie would be unemployable because the SPLC got a hair up their ass would be fanciful. Today, that is our new reality. Roof didn’t just unleash a storm, for a storm eventually ends, this feels more like a paradigm shift, something that creates a new world after which nothing will ever be the same.

To give another example, I can remember when the Council of Conservative Citizens actually had mainstream legitimacy. The amount of state senators and representatives in both parties, that were either members of the CCC, or at least willing to meet with them, was pretty staggering. Now, the CCC is practically over. It wasn’t like Roof had been a member of the CCC, or even active in their circles, his citing of them was enough to bring them down.

Honestly, it appears he wasn’t even involved in any online rightwing groups, be it nationalist or otherwise, especially those with a Southern bent. Regardless, everyone has been made to pay the price. I can remember right after his name was made public, along with the pictures of him holding a Confederate flag, and looking up his profile on Facebook, fearing that we were going to have mutual friends in common. Thankfully, we didn’t have any mutual friends, but it didn’t matter.

Remember, the same people willing to paint anyone with an affinity for the Confederate flag as a mass murderer are the same that will go out of their way with proclamations of how Islam is “a religion of peace” every time there is a Muslim terror attack. Naturally, these same people are unwilling to extend the same courtesy to Southerners. I think it was at that point when I realized just how deep the Left’s hatred of the South was and still is. They wanted us erased and now they had been given a prefect pretext.

There is a reason I’m so tough on the “St. Roof did nothing wrong” lunacy pushed by fedposting idiots – the events of that night have caused a lot of pain for both my country and me. There’s been many times when I’m alone and wonder what the world would be like if Dylann Roof had gotten into a car wreck on his way to Charleston and been killed instantly. The Left still would have been pushing for the destruction of our identity, but with much more limited success. I can pretty safely say that nine innocent people would still be alive, I would have a lot more friends, all of the monuments would more or less still stand, and the nationalist movement in the U.S. would be in a better position. Remember, the U.S. is one of the few countries in the West where nationalism is in a worse position today than it was in 2015. Most of Europe has elected nationalist parties in the past five (5) years. We keep losing ground and it’s largely because we have this weight around our necks, along with other foolish setbacks.

Nothing good came out of the events on June 17, 2015, and if anyone argues otherwise, I will assume they are either (1) a leftist, (2) a plant, or (3) an idiot. Take your pick. Roof managed to do in around 17 minutes what the entire might of the Yankee army, Radical Republicans, and American Empire could not do after more than 17 years – get Southerners to give up their identity. Within a few days of the shooting, another monumental event occurred – the Supreme Court struck down every state law banning gay marriage. I can remember sitting in Mass, the Sunday after the ruling happened, when a horrible thought came over me. For several years I had thought that eventually the Supreme Court would do this, but I had hoped, perhaps naively, that it would finally convince the average Southerner that the Empire was morally broke and could not be reformed. Only independence could save our Christian society. Thanks to a single madman though, that was a complete nonstarter at a time we needed it most.

As I reflect upon these past five (5) years, I think about all that has been lost. Our flag desecrated and our monuments torn down. Our ancestors made out to be Nazis and even their graves torn up. In 2014, no one would have dared to do that. It has been tough, but it is during tough times that men rebuild. God has chosen us for this time and for this cause. Let us honor Him by advocating for our nation and people. Even if we do not see victory in our lifetimes, we must lay the groundwork for an eventual Free Dixie. That’s what we’re doing at ID. God does not give his people an impossible task.

With that, I leave you with the very last words that Irish Nationalist Padraig Pearse said at his court martial for his role in the Easter Rising of 1916: “You cannot conquer Ireland; you cannot extinguish the Irish passion for freedom. If our deed has not been sufficient to win freedom, then our children will win it by a better deed.

  1. Have to disagree. Not to suggest Roof did a good thing, but Roofs are produced at some rate through time. Guys like that aren’t some special wickedness that comes along once in a lifetime any more than other homicidal maniacs are. Our country produces them, and if it hadn’t been Roof, it would have been someone else.

There was never a chance that liberal democracy was going to fix itself. Like someone said, we aren’t voting our way out of this. Everyone can access the stats on white-on-black violence – they don’t do so because it doesn’t matter, and never did. So, get over Roof.

    1. “So, get over Roof.”

You sound young, Oswy. This is not meant to disparage you. You will, in time, come to understand that there is an appropriate time for reflection on the past. And it does a body good.

  2. Though the last 60+ years have been full of all kinds of reverses for Southerners, the last 5 years have got to be right up there for the very worst.

It’s revealed to us how helpless we currently are, in cultural, legal, and political terms, and no man, or men, like to find that out about themself, or themselves.

It’s also revealed how decent we are, for, in spite of the fact that so many of us have been deeply angered, over and over again, we have never gone out and taken it out on innocents and, in so doing, brought dishonour on Dixie.

Of course, recent weeks go against the grain of every true Southerner, yet, it is in these weeks that we will find our rebirth.

Why do I maintain that, you ask?

Because those who hate us are making a point to all of our sleepy-eyed and detached brethren that we could never do – that the current situation is unworkable for us.

And it is not just White Southern Christian Gentiles who are increasingly unsafe in this environment, but, all those who live in Dixie – from Negroes and Jews, to Latins and Indians.

From every angle all of us are in ever greater peril – from culturally, religiously, intellectually, economically, domestically historically, physically, spiritually, and, yes, racially.

Yep, it is the full flowering of all what our enemies have worked for that is the sound of many alarm clocks that have no more functioning snooze alarm left – because every dadburn one of them has been pressed one too many times.

  3. “all of the monuments would more or less still stand”

That was certainly true up until a Minnesota police officer killed a black 6 time felon. Then it seems all of the Confederate statues would have been taken down or toppled just the same but also to include Christopher Columbus, George Washington and others worldwide such as Cecil Rhodes, King Leopold II and more. Clearly there is much more at work than it appears…

  4. Holy crap what a sappy bunch of crybaby nonsense.
Did you not read Dylan’s manifesto ? Was he misguided in actions ? I would say yes because murdering black Christians in church seems like the wrong path for sure…but let’s not forget that God works in mysterious ways. Dylan’s heart was in the right place. His goal was to fight for his people and he was willing to lay his life down, which is more than I can say for millions and millions of Americans and southerners. Most denounce Dylan altogether instead of noting his righteous anger. Do these same cowards denounce black lives matter activists outright because of their actions ?? No. Your former friends etc ?? I bet the COWARDS dont. I bet they HALF heartedly denounce the blacks actions WHILE KNEELING IN SOLIDARITY WITH THEM. did they do this for Dylan ?? Hardly. DID YOU ?!?! NOPE. I have no problem saying that blacks deserve that the police treat them properly under the law, and that as things stand now they have the right to demand it and I’m even on their side with that against the lunatic police of today and the corrupt court system. But I will also stand with Dylan’s very noble aspirations in defending his people, and at the same time suggest that his choice was theoretically not the best method(And I say that because history moves strangely sometimes and while I consider Dylan’s targets immorally chosen AND tactically poor, it is too early to tell if they will bring about a greater justice in the long term. The Satanist kikes murdered Christ and in so doing sealed their own fate and that of their father satan while at the same time securing the salvation of their enemies…). SO we Confederates need to quit blaming Dylan and BLAME OURSELVES for not setting this mess straight before this disillusioned young man thought that he had to do it himself !! Forget blaming our own for what they DID DO and let’s start blaming OURSELVES for what WE ARE NOT COURAGEOUSLY DOING !! and let’s start standing up for constitutional liberty and for the ACTUAL values americas and the Confederacys Founders fought for !! Dio vindace !!

    1. “Confederate Patriot”

Let me start this reply by saying, your an idiot. Your an idiot for defending the single man who hurt the south more than any enemy could through his actions even if he was actually trying to save the South which he did the exact opposite of an personally I don’t think that was his actual goal to begin with cause I think he just wanted fame an attention for creating his “race war”.

Your defending someone who murdered innocent people minding their own business in a place of worship, you cannot go lower than that. He’s a MURDERER, PERIOD. I mean what he did is the equivalent to a confederate soldier going into a local Union community ball an shooting as many innocent civilians as you can who can’t defend themselves, just cause. There is NO honor or dignity in what he did, not to mention from a moral standpoint and your one of the idiots who’s giving more ammo to the leftists by sympathizing with a murderer. I’m nearly certain the rebel soldiers wouldn’t have ever done something like that or condoned it, because the majority of them had a moral conscience an chivalric code.

You don’t judge someone by what they say or mean but by their actions, and Dylan Roofs actions were immoral, inhumane, and just plain evil. Also remember that the bible says Thou Shalt Not Kill, and you know an I both know that hes a murderer an was not acting in self defense. His manifesto or whatever else he may have done or said does not take away the fact that he was a drugged out loser who decided to go out an murder 9 innocent people worshipping in church for fame an attention.

People like you are the problem, and I hope you realize that before you go blabbering that all over town an give us even more of a bad reputation. Sit down, the adults are talking.

      1. JohhnyRebSince1635,you seem part naive, part stupid.Roof was not the issue.20,000 White females are raped per year by Black males and the media buries it.There are thousands of Black on White murders and assaults per year, not a peep.Yet you get your panties in a bunch over Roof giving them a little payback. Our ancestors would have hung Blacks who treated our people as they are treated now,and you can be damn sure they weren’t feeling guilty like you are. They defended our people!Unapolegetically.I’m a Christian as well so save all that patronizing talkabout guilt. You totally fail to grasp the enormity of what is done to our people daily.I can do without allies like you JohnnyReb because your grasp on the situation is garbage.

        1. Well Ben, how is Roof not the issue? You do realize that Roof has merely ACCELERATED the third reconstruction from that one action right? He’s hurt our people more than you realize. Nobody had any real justification to remove the monuments until Roof gave them all they needed to demonize the south.

Those crime statistics are true, and it’s very obvious that they’re hid under the rug an never cared about by the media an that’s messed up don’t get me wrong. However Roofs “payback” plan you mentioned completely failed, because rather than coming up with a civilized payback he chose to just go out an shoot churchgoers that did nothing but elevate the churchgoers to a martyr sainthood status while the South has been repeatedly demonized with Roof as the justification.

Our ancestors would have hung the specific criminals, not people who were just minding their own business let alone at a church. No they didn’t feel guilty about it, because the people they gave justice to 99% of the time actually deserved it.

I actually do grasp very well what’s done to our people on a daily basis, maybe a tiny bit different from you. You really shouldn’t turn away from allies just because they slightly disagree with you on some things ,better to find common ground than start infighting. Remember we are a brotherhood on this website united to preserve our land an way of life.

If my grasp on the situation is so garbage, than why don’t you explain it to me? Please explain how Roof’s actions wasn’t an issue for the South.

          Respectfully, Johnny Reb

  5. The media never covered the Nashville church shooting where a black man killed one and wounded several in revenge for the Charleston shooting, but that’s routine coverage by the media and don’t ever expect any different

  6. Hard disagree with this.
Roof may have provided the lighting rod he didn’t create the sentiment.
Our symbols and traditions were already under attack and our people were already slated for destruction.

  7. If Roof did not exist, would Cabal have needed to create him?

Are mass shootings ever Manchurian candidate false flag events?

Have Cabal (((Marxist-globalists))) ever run a false flag?

  8. Dylan Roof was simply one of those black swan events that happen from time to time. The desire to eradicate our heritage was there and the elites had at least the outline of a plan in place already. If Dylann Roof had died in a car wreck, then our enemies would have made use of a police shooting or other event for the same results. If you want to blame an event for what has happened to us, blame the outpouring of grief and affinity for the Confederacy that came out of the funeral of the crew of the CSS Hunley. I know that seriously rattled the Bolshevik elites that there was that much depth of feeling for Dixie still.

  9. Your logic is totally off.Do you rationally think that the Jewish controllers needed Dylan Roof to bring their agenda to fruition? You have the mindset of a teenage girl. The evil plutocracy doesn’t react to events they CREATE them.In fact they love it when you engage in all the totally useless hand wringing about this or that stitch in time.Your mindset is basically defeatist. You have no plan or fire to win victory for our side so you dream about how if only events were different the White hating Jews would let us thrive.A thousand scandals or crimes could emit from the BLM/Jewish side and they are merely ignored as they march on without pause.Reset your thinking, please!
