If We Should Turn Against Him

Author's Preface: I purposely write little of theology. I see myself as unqualified to do so and generally wish to abstain from even the possibility of misrepresenting the Word of God. However, the following topic within this essay has captured my mind lately. While most Southern Nationalists I have met will agree with what I have to say, there are some who may not have realized the gravity of this topic as of yet. For the sake of clarity, the terms "people" and "nation" used here are synonymous. I have defined them utilizing the Oxford definition of "nation." All Biblical quotes provided are from the KJV text.

Why is this happening to Dixie? This question captures the minds of many Southern Nationalists and traditionalists. Of course, there are many answers: invasion, subjugation, oppression, media, propaganda, suburban and urban sprawl, immigration, and carpetbaggery all play significant factors. However, one debilitating factor stands above the rest, and it places the onus of responsibility squarely on the shoulders of Southerners. In painstaking detail, the Holy Bible discusses exactly what happens to God’s people once they turn against Him.

To give pretext to the discussion here, it must be stated that Southerners have been the heart, soul, and backbone of North American Christianity since around 1840 to 1850. Dixie became Christianized primarily as a result of the Second Great Awakening. This Protestant movement spread the Presbyterian, Baptist, and Methodist denominations throughout Appalachia and the Tidewater, but it did also have a significant effect on the Deep South as well, as evidenced by the Southern Baptist Convention’s formation in Georgia in 1845. Prior to this Awakening, Dixians primarily adhered to Anglicanism, Deism, or nothing. Shortly thereafter, a Third Great Awakening occurred, spurred on by the War Between the States, and lasted into the early years of the 21st Century. This Third Great Awakening took much deeper root in Dixieland as opposed to its counterpart in the North and even catalyzed the famous Confederate Army revivals within General Lee’s Army of Northern Virginia. These two movements, alongside the subsequent economic, cultural, and geographic isolation of the South from 1865 to 1945, formed the region into the modern day Bible Belt and carried with it the utmost superlative theologians ever to live on the North American continent.

Having established its historic Christian background, contemporary Southerners pale in comparison to their Christian forefathers. Gone are the days of “fire and brimstone” Baptist sermons, opposition to wonton fornication, shunning of divorce, resistance to race mixing, the fight against atheist communism, adherence to masculine Christianity, and stalwart loathing of homosexuality. Of course, numerous Christians do adhere to these aforementioned stances; however, the vast majority of the most conservative of Protestant churches have either abandoned these beliefs in one way or another or have simply refused to openly endorse them despite their own convictions. This modern state of Christianity, following in the path of the leftist historiography and theology since the 1960s and personified by hostile actors such as Russell Moore and JD Greer who enter into positions of leadership in otherwise right-leaning congregations, has catapulted Southern society into freefall, overseeing Dixie’s cultural, familial, intellectual, and ethnic decline. There are three points of note to be discussed here regarding this decline.

As stated before, this abandonment of God carries with it grave societal consequences. The Holy Bible describes in profound detail, summarized succinctly and gravely within Deuteronomy 28, exactly what happens to a people, in the context of a nation as opposed to a state, upon turning their back on the Lord. As seen in Deuteronomy 28: 20, 28 – 29, 34, and 64 – 67 all discuss the afflictions of fear, confusion, and madness. In each instance, these states of mind are a result of the utter chaos which unfolds. They appear as more of a symptom than part of the curses themselves. Nevertheless, they do exist as permanent characteristics of the modern individual. The bread and circus of the news media and political elite encompass a profound amount of influence on the modern individual, including supposed Christians, who lack the initiative and discipline to simply ignore the insanity on their televisions and social media, choosing to live in fear instead of faith in the Lord.

Furthermore, they place heavy reliance on the leadership of incompetents within the political infrastructure, despite the fact those leaders are simply stuffing their pockets and betraying their voters. Panicking due to the bizarre Covid-19 outbreak, lacking the resolve to understand and quell the wayward ways of incorrigible non-Caucasians, balking at the abhorrent nature of abortion, wrenching in horror at the vast epidemic of grotesque sexual degeneracy, and numerous other examples pervade the conservative side of the Southern populace, who simply refuse to do anything about these issues or take a stand on any moral responsibility to their folk or homeland. This is only detailing the right-of-center side, not to mention those on the Left who endorse such decadence. As stated, this mass dread, trepidation, and incertitude is more of a symptom as opposed to being an outlined curse, or punishment, itself, the latter of which will be detailed further within the other points discussed here.

Delving further into the God imposed afflictions, subjugation, inability to wage war, and loss of a homeland also occurs. Verse 25 reads, “The Lord shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and flee seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.” Compare the first three clauses of this to the American Empire of today. The Empire has not won a single war, of which it has waged many, in 76 years since the end of World War II. The final clause of that verse details subjugation and loss of homeland, an utter loss of place and dissolved into the other masses and peoples on Earth. Additionally, verse 43 says, “The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low,” and verses 47 – 51 read, “Because thou servedst not the Lord thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things; Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the Lord shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee. The Lord shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand; A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor shew favour to the young: And he shall eat the fruit of thy cattle, and the fruit of thy land, until thou be destroyed: which also shall not leave thee either corn, wine, or oil, or the increase of thy kine, or flocks of thy sheep, until he have destroyed thee.” The former verse details how those not of the same ethnic stock as the people mentioned will be their hostile rulers from within the established legal framework. The latter discusses the campaigns of destruction these aliens wage against the people. Regarding modern America, this requires no explanation. The anti-Southern vitriol from within Dixie and without flourishes in abundance, rendering Southerners without much legitimate representation. The unremitting flow of Third World immigration and carpetbaggers moving South only adds more validity to the warnings within the passages.

Ultimately, the multitude of curses outlined in Deuteronomy 28 culminate in the utter, wholesale eradication of the people group who turn against the Lord. Famine and disease abound, and the overall health of the nation of people declines. This carries with it the consequences of physical weakness, infertility, and high mortality.

Forbye the decline in physical prowess, their replacement occurs via the relentless influx of ethnic and cultural foreigners, if not outright conquerors. The provided verse 43 discusses the power foreigners will have over the natives, and the text further details the scenario in verses 44 – 46, stating, “He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail. Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee: And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed for ever.

Later verses within the chapter expand on ethnic destruction even further, and they add the verity that the Lord wrathfully rejoices in the destruction of those who turn to wickedness away from Him and make a mockery of Christianity. Verses 63 – 65 state, “And it shall come to pass, that as the Lord rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the Lord will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it. And the Lord shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone. And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the Lord shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind,” which flies contrary to the happy-go-lucky attitude of modern “Christianity.” This author cannot drive home any further the point that Christians who turn their backs on the Lord and refuse to wholly serve Him will face ethnic annihilation, yet this essay only scratches the surface of one single chapter.

The comparison to contemporary Southern society simply lacks nuance or subtlety. Dixie currently receives these Biblical punishments, and Southerners rightfully deserve them. Regarding physical health, the general populace is progressively less and less healthy, largely due to the food consumed. The United States has held the record for quite some time now of being the most overweight country on Earth, and Dixie is often called out for contributing heavily to this problem. This fast food and carb heavy diet, as well as, a plethora of substance addictions and birth control pills has rendered the average person uglier and sicker than any previous generation in American history prior to the 1990s. Cancer rates are unabatingly on the incline, which is linked directly to poor diets and various chemicals in the environment, and diseases are unceasing when typically not before common or seen. Additionally, young women are increasingly having a difficult time bearing children and testosterone levels in young men has been drastically decreasing since the 1980s. Taking a cursory observation of the surrounding population and environment would provide the individual enough evidence to only prove these statements true, without the studies and statistics already in existence.

Regarding population replacement and growth, Caucasians are no longer reproducing much. Befitting the context of this essay, Southern Protestant churches, while marginally more fertile than the non-Christian population, do appear to have a decreasing rate of fertility as well, just at a first glance. Alongside the various substances and food, Southern youth are sold on the college degree myth and often begin attending college immediately after high school. These contemporary colleges are primarily made to benefit women and frat boys. The women tend to become informal prostitutes and are indoctrinated to hate their fathers, while the men are forced to undergo harsh indoctrination from professors and staff and an education system which hates them. Both groups graduate heavily in debt, less intelligent, jaded and disillusioned, often more left-wing, loaded with baggage because of the multitudes of degenerate acts, in poor health, and unable to find a decent paying job due to those jobs being moved out of the country, rapid inflation, corruption, or given to immigrants and carpetbaggers.

These factors force many Southern Whites into a position of being financially and physically unable to bear children. To pose a contemplative question: how often does one notice that White women have pregnancy complications or are forced to undergo C-sections? Furthermore, it cannot escape the notice of the keen observing individual that most population growth comes from poor Negroes and Hispanics, both of whom are not wont to preserve Southern history, culture, dialect, language, or religious practices.

Southern Whites are being replaced, and even their churches support it. Each and every characteristic of modern society is a symptom of the curses and punishments laid out in Deuteronomy 28. Objectively, this is their own faults. With the college degeneracy occurring and the refusal to address decadence within churches themselves, Christians also seem to be openly supportive of urban and suburban growth and multiculturalism, effectively defying the anti-cosmopolitan discussion of the Tower of Babel in Genesis 11, as well as, Isaiah 5:8 when it says, “Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth!” Is it any wonder that the Lord would allow such ethnic replacement and cultural eradication to occur to such a people who have corrupted his Word so?

Despite this dreary and seemingly hopeless state of affairs, Dixie still maintains a number of Christian men and women who wish to save it, as seen within the readers of Identity Dixie, Abbeville Institute, and numerous others. Fortunately, the Bible provides an outline for achieving such a feat. First and foremost, Christian men are called to be leaders and stand strong on the Word of God. According to 1 Corinthians 16: 13 – 14, “Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. Let all your things be done with charity.” Translating the old KJV English dialect for a modern audience, this passage is bluntly stating to be strong men of the faith, stalwart, and steadfast in the ways of the Lord. This means being leaders, rearing children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, and being good husbands to good wives. Being valiant, chivalrous, strong, and manly in all things, as well as, having good character are also necessities.

The Bible also lays out standards for women, too. The writings of Paul lay out the roles women are to hold within churches and within familial affairs. Women are to submit to their husbands and fathers. This author did not fabricate that for social biases. Paul and Old Testament Levitical Law both discuss that fact. Additionally, they are not to have an open say in the goings on of church affairs. While the latter may still be adhered to in more conservative churches, most modern churches do allow women plenty of say in matters and in positions of leadership. The Bible does not care about feminism or the 19th Amendment.

Lastly, both men and women are called to render unto the Lord so as to save their people and land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 blatantly says, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” Throughout the Old Testament books of Judges, 1 and 2 Samuel, and 1 and 2 Kings, the ancient Hebrews turn their backs on God, he allows them to fall into subjugation and misery, they turn back to him, and he restores their land and people. While He did give the Hebrews numerous chances to repent, the Lord ultimately destroyed their kingdoms of Israel and Judah in 2 Kings and allowed those people to fall into oppression and capture for several generations. This is the current fate which awaits Dixians should they continue to refuse to humble themselves in front of Almighty God.

Unfortunately, there is little else for this essay and its author to say regarding these passages. Dixie and Southerners are dying at breakneck speed. Poor health, decreasing birth rates, population replacement with that of non-natives, vanishing dialect and accents, unavailability of good paying jobs, and lessening existence of a unique culture compound together to form a situation in which quality of life is worsening, and Southerners are fading away. Inasmuch as the Bible provides guidelines for maintaining the existence of a people, it also serves as a warning to those who turn towards evil. Painful though it may be to admit, Southerners appear unwilling to turn from the destructive path they are currently on, happy and willing to waltz into their doom.

“I am more anxious than I can tell that my men shall be good soldiers of the cross as well as good soldiers of their country.”

  1. Excellent article brother!

The solution rests, lives or dies, on reviving the spirit of nationhood among our people. They must see themselves as distinct among the tribes of men. When/While that is being established, they must see themselves as a Christian nation, set apart for the glory of God. When that revival comes, and it must, the heavens will shake in triumphant applause for our king!

    Your article was spot on.
