For the people who’ve hijacked our civilization, repression has become an essential tool. That’s because they’re imposing terminal insanity, which some percentage of the population will naturally resist. Moreover, the percentages will continue to grow as the final existential consequences come into view. The escalating madness thus correlates directly with the astounding increase in repression by the authorities.
Last Friday, a peaceful Catholic pro-life advocate found his family subjected to an early morning raid. Here’s an account from his wife:
Ryan-Marie, who is a homeschooling mother, described how the SWAT team of 25 to 30 FBI agents swarmed their property with around 15 vehicles at 7:05 a.m. this morning. Having quickly surrounded the house with rifles in firing position, “they started pounding on the door and yelling for us to open it.”
Before opening the door, she explained, her husband tried to calm them, saying, “‘Please, I’m going to open the door, but, please, my children are in the home. I have seven babies in the house.’ But they just kept pounding and screaming,” she said.
When he opened the door, “they had big, huge rifles pointed at Mark and pointed at me and kind of pointed throughout the house,” Ryan-Marie described.
When they came in, they ordered the kids to stay upstairs. “Our staircase is open, so [the kids] were all at the top of the stairs which faces the front door, and I was on the stairs as well, coming down.”
“The kids were all just screaming. It was all just very scary and traumatic,” she explained.
After asking them why they were at the house, the agents said they were there to arrest Mark. When Ryan-Marie asked for their warrant, “they said that they were going to take him whether they had a warrant or not.”
Basically, he’d been offering counseling on the sidewalk outside of a Philadelphia abortion clinic. For some time, he’d been harassed by a deranged leftist who he eventually shoved to prevent from accosting his young son. For that, he’d been charged with “attack of a patient escort,” which was tossed out in district court. The Justice Department picked up the case and gave him the Unabomber treatment. This is a trend:
In March, the FBI rounded up 10 pro-life activists, including Joan Andrews Bell, with SWAT team raids that serve to intimidate and humiliate the accused through an exercise of excessive force.
A surfaced video of one of these raids shows armed agents holding pro-lifers at gunpoint and ordering them to put their hands up, drop to their knees and scoot backward out their front door in the middle of the night. The pro-lifers are respectful and compliant throughout.
Repression is a tool that only works when certain limited demographics are chosen as targets. When that scope continually expands until it includes everyone who doesn’t want to experience the implosion of civilization, it becomes highly counterproductive. I suppose we should be grateful.
In the wake of the 2017 Charlottesville ambush, it seemed as if rightwing dissidents were in a singularly dangerous position. If we’d remained the specific targets of repression, most of us might be in cages or down in the ground. By and large, we’re still at it despite the challenges we’ve had to overcome and the prices that high profile voices have paid for their activism.
The reality of the situation is that we were merely systemic thinkers and the most articulate voices about a war being waged on everyone. Just getting rid of us wouldn’t change anything fundamental because society would still be packed with people who are willing to stand up for a specific issue or sets of issues even if they’re unwilling to name and blame the culprits. At this point, federal law enforcement is playing whack-a-mole on them.
Rightwing dissents have learned to produce content while insulating their personal lives and avoiding all public confrontations. Nobody is emboldened anymore by the role the alternative media played in the election of Trump into thinking they have the freedom to get a permit and coordinate with the police to hold a peaceful protest. We’re enemies of the state, so the law only applies to the extent it can used against us.
Instead of learning from our experiences, other dissenters assumed that because they were good, law-abiding Americans objecting to injustice, they wouldn’t get the Nazi treatment. I’m not deriding these folks, just pointing out that this is a key factor in how they “get got.”
When you’re not a bad guy, it can be psychologically unsettling to have to think like one and take the appropriate precautions. We’ve been at this for so long that it’s probably something that most of us don’t even ponder because it’s just a fact of life.
The good news is that this can’t go on forever. Unfortunately, lots of decent people are going to keep getting their lives wrecked in the meantime.
I’m proud to officially announce my candidacy for the office of Dogcatcher.
Anyone who thinks (s)he and his family is “immune” because they’re law-abiding, God-fearing and otherwise “good Americans” is out of his gord. As you say, some of us have been at this for so long now, it is all second nature. One of my favorite pastimes of late is to give the Census workers fits. But, hey, I’m just kind of cantankerous like that. “American Community Survey,” what? Take a hike, G-man! LOL.
As I read this, I am also listening to the podcast about law enforcement on Dixie on The Rocks.
Warrants? We don’t got to show you no stinkin’ warrants!
Welcome to Abraham Lincoln’s Amurrika. The reason they must be resisted, when it comes to firearms confiscation.
Secession or civil war is the only way to fix this in my opinion.
