Observations on Southern Nationalism Today

While the American Empire yet again establishes war footing and political intrigue carpets the national news, many wonder what can be done to affect the outcome of these events. For the Southerner, that answer is almost nothing. National politics is all but a waste of our time. That is why, for Southern Nationalists, the intertribal political scene is going to be far more important than his or her vote for president or even imperial senator. So, as we approach the halfway mark of 2022, let us take a look at the movers and shakers in the Southern Nationalist scene.

As far as religion goes, it seems that the Calvinists have moved to the top of the leaderboard. Baptists are the largest religious group among Southerners, but if we are talking about which Dixians have the largest impact on their respective denominations, it appears to be the Presbyterians at the moment. The nihilists and atheists have all but left Southern Nationalist circles completely.

The new Southern Agrarians and their latest mode of farming techniques are coming into their own and they could not have planned it with better timing. By utilizing farming techniques, mastered by the likes of Joel Salatin and others, they concentrate on producing nutrient-dense food grown on more compact plots of earth. These techniques integrate pre-industrialized farming practices with beneficial modern technology. The women are learning how to store the food long-term by pressure canning, freeze-drying, dehydrating, and curing. Working together in online groups, along with in-person farm visits, is allowing Southern farmers to share the practices that are found to be the most productive for their setups.

Homeschoolers are seeing more and more available curricula for their children, and at a better cost, than in the past. The insanity of the Covidians and the sodomites has parents pulling their children out of the public schools in droves. This appears to be having a positive effect on the market for homeschool books and media, especially as more competition from enterprising printers have found their way into the market giving parents more options.

Leadership among Southern Nationalist groups in early 2022 have had an uptick in old-line blood. Harkening back to the early days of Dixie, the Virginia Tidewater has stepped up its game with successful in-person meetups and welcoming home our lost brother Dixians back into the fold. Great job, gentlemen.

So far in 2022, we have seen more and more Southerners become independent business owners and this is a wonderful thing. These moves are rocky at first, but those who survive will make our movement that much stronger in the long run. Content creators and Southern media personalities will now have the backing of strong, antifragile businesses that will be able to provide financial support for the talent behind the mics, pens, and cameras.

Be mindful of north Florida, too. I expect big moves on the back side of 2022 for this region. Many in our ranks have deep roots in this area. Also, the western portion of the Deep South needs to step up. I am particularly calling out the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast. There is a lot of oil and gas money being made there right now. You men need to join our ranks. Quit letting D.C. exploit your resources and labor.

  1. Yes brother, the Reformed Christian will be the leadership and heirs to a new Dixie, for our theology teaches us to take dominion to the glory of God. We are builders and planters , of both soil and men.

Yes, North Florida will lead the way!

  2. Great article. Check out the Youtube channel : Downshiftology for cooking ideas too.
The “observations” in your piece make for a good “pep talk” … but you could have the most impact by editing / tweaking / adding to it to morph it into a “manifesto!” Then that PDF and hopefully video could be sent out to ( southern ) kingdom come. Ideas won’t change the south … but ideas in the hands of the ( southern ) masses will.

I hope all the growers are using organic heirloom seeds and some sort of coverings over their gardens for WHEN the enemy adds whatever to the chem trails.

  3. This is an excellent article – short, sweet, and succinct. It really is an indication as to how well we are doing as a movement compared to the rest.

    1. Well, hell, I screwed this up in the coding. Let me try again, so as not to confuse readers as to who and what I’m quoting vs. what I’m saying:

I agree! It goes to show that the principle “less is more” is at least sometimes correct, and in this case it IS correct.

I love Texas roads, which I travel quite often; albeit that I’d trade the quality of Texas roads compared to those in my State to its north for a little less emphasis (and money expended) on perfect roadways in the LoneStar State, for the security of knowing that money was better spent serving the Southern Nationalist cause in which Texas ought to be fully invested, imho.

      There we go.

  4. I’d call myself a Reformed Christian, but there are certainly aspects of Post-mil dominionism to which I’d not adhere.

“A Church triumphant is nothing but a sham. … It is rooted in the conceit of human impatience that wants to take in advance that which ultimately comes later – the kingdom of God. … Christ promised only one thing: hatred and opposition from the world. Christ’s Church, therefore, can only endure by struggling – that is, by every moment battling the world and battling for the Truth.” p. 200.

We’re called A-millenials, and have no love for messianic communism.

  6. I live in north Florida. Born here and raised here. I’ve traveled all over this country chasing contracts and being in the military. I can say without a doubt that the south is the best place to be with the best people. Now if Florida could just get rid of all these damn Yankees that have been invading.

  7. I’m a retired Navy Chief, about to retire from the FAA, and am looking at Santa Rosa county in North Florida. Not a Calvinist, but a Traditional (Trad) Catholic. Have done some Joel Salatin type farming, and want to again. I moved around a lot growing up and in 25 years in the Navy, including Kentucky, Georgia, Florida and Virginia. So, I have seen a lot, and prefer the traditional South. I just discovered this terrific blog tonight, and plan to do a lot of reading. Fwiw, Trad Catholics tend to have very large families and are into organic farming and raw milk, etc. Most homeschool. They are your natural allies
