They Died for Nothing

This Memorial Day, families throughout the United States will celebrate the unofficial opening of summer.  Televisions and radio advertisements will gleefully promote a variety of Memorial Day related sales.  Pools will reopen in formerly colder climates.  Americans will gorge on hot dogs, hamburgers, and ice cream.  Memorial Day is generally one of those happy-go-lucky holidays, whereby individuals drink beer, play cornhole, and simply forget the original purpose of the holiday: to remember the brave men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice ostensibly for our freedom.  Whereas Americans can be somewhat forgiven for their consumer driven collective amnesia regarding the holiday, that which is inexcusable is far more profound than a careless attitude toward a somber date.  Americans have surrendered everything for which those brave men laid down their lives.  Every American serviceman for whom Memorial Day is designed literally died for nothing.

This has nothing to do with fat people stuffing their faces.  This has everything to do with American White people surrendering their civilization.  As a group, we have been conquered without a fight.

Whether I believe that the Union was wrong in 1861 and 1941 is irrelevant.  The fact is, those who served truly believed that they were dying for a cause bigger than themselves – the preservation of Constitutional values and freedoms.  Do I believe the Confederacy was the true defender of the original Constitutional Republic?  Absolutely.  Do I believe the United States fought the wrong enemy from 1942-1945 in Europe?  Unequivocally.  But each man that donned a uniform, whether they were drafted or duped, still sought to protect a country they sincerely believed was the best on earth.  They honestly felt that the United States was the pinnacle of Western Civilization and they sought to preserve her in perpetuity.  Men who offer their lives for ideals are noble.  That should not be taken away from them.  What has been taken from them is the ideal itself.

Those who died in battle passed onto their citizen descendants an obligation to preserve the country.  Those citizen descendants failed.  With each generation, the collective suicide of White Americans has been facilitated by their own empathy and narcissistic need for adulation – even if those cheering on their suicide are doing so for obvious, self-serving reasons.  Facebook “likes” and Twitter “retweets” are more important to White Americans than conserving the cultural integrity that laid the foundation for their comfort.  They celebrate the birth of a black Marxist rapist in January.  They apply “coexist” stickers to their rear windshields, utilizing symbolism that directly contradicts the very values of their ancestors.  They facilitate the mass invasion of brown-skinned migrants by frequenting establishments that rely on cheap labor.  White Americans walk into Walmart wearing football jerseys with mandingo names across their backs, so they can purchase cheap Chinese manufactured goods and meat processed by illegal aliens in order to celebrate primarily White Americans who died in foreign wars.  The absurd contradictions are mind blowing.

Yet here we are in 21st Century America.  The White men who died in preceding generations could never envision a point of time in which transvestites chose their pronouns.  They would not sit at the same lunch counter as a black man, let alone wear his name emblazoned across their bodies.  They could not conceive of a country that would willingly outsource its manufacturing to Chinamen.  The men who died would have refused to allow their children to race mix.  Modern American Whites, addicted to social acceptance, shudder at such fundamental beliefs held by the “patriotic dead” whom they pretend to remember on Memorial Day.  Those beliefs, however, were common throughout the United States as recently as thirty years ago.

The tragedy of Memorial Day is that we collectively threw it all away.  We allowed homosexual freaks to fully dismantle our sense of decorum, dignity, and our relationship with God.  Next month, while they march around in leather outfits and Monkey Pox, celebrating the “pride” that goeth before the fall, White Americans to whom the country was gifted by blood sacrifices on foreign soil will simply shrug.  If they call out the ostentatious displays of immorality, they risk losing their jobs – so they remain silent cowards.

While blacks and Marxists burned entire cities down in 2020, very few Whites did anything to stop them.  Many joined the ranks and pledged solidarity with BLM hashtags, Marxist fists, and other ridiculous iconography on their social media profiles.  Imagine a White American in 1944, who stormed an obscure beach in France through a hail of bullets, allowing barbaric hordes to run violently rampant throughout his own country.  It would not have happened.  He certainly would not have taken a knee, like the police officers around the country who dutifully showed their subordination to their new masters.

Meanwhile, as the border is literally invaded by thousands of locusts daily, White Americans lament the lack of control, but never bother to simply ask the waiter at Applebee’s, “Who works in your kitchen?”  Tacit acceptance of mass illegal immigration is still acceptance.  This holds true, even if the reason to accept the cultural corrosion of mass migration is to buy a cheaper cheeseburger.

In totality, White Americans do not deserve Memorial Day.  They have squandered the legacy of better men.  Their replacement rapidly becomes inevitable and yet they comply.  Once upon a time, the United States was a backwater.  It was an untamed forest, filled with savages and dangerous creatures.  It was conquered by the sheer grit of a brave few.  It was maintained by subsequent generations who knew what had been sacrificed to make the country what they deeply believed it was destined to be.  It was a White country, founded on European ideals, and built by White ingenuity.  In two generations, it was thrown away with spineless abandon.  Someday, in the not-too-distant future, Memorial Day will be a celebration of blacks and browns dancing on the graves of the White race.  But until then, enjoy your hotdogs.

  1. Amen, brother.
Thank you, once again, for the eloquent summation of my thoughts on Memorial Day. The last vestiges of patriotism I have are the yearnings for those Ideals which my ancestors died for in both the American and the Southern Wars for Independence. They didn’t fight for “White people to wear mandingo names on their backs.” (that was a nice touch, btw)

  2. This was a brutal article, but it had to be written. Within the exception of the WW2 comment, (the Germany sought to unify Europe, the way we have the EU today) where the West failed is after 1945, where they abandoned Nationalism and embraced and promoted the unipolar world.

I will also say that the Anti-Federalists’s fears were correct and because of them you got the Bill of Rights the only thing, for now, that is in the way of the machinations of the Left. Enough to buy you all some time.

    Best wishes!

    1. …the Bill of Rights the only thing, for now, that is in the way of the machinations of the Left. Enough to buy you all some time.

Well, not exactly, but I get what you’re saying, and agree as far as it goes. Problem is, it doesn’t go very far. Here’s why:

In 19-whatever, the SCOTUS discovered (out of thin air) a new (hidden) constitutional principle that it called “Incorporation.” We fondly refer to it now by the title “Incorporation Doctrine,” and there is a whole “body of law” and “precedent” built upon this “doctrine.” This Constitutional “doctrine” goes hand-in-glove with the idea that, for “federal law” to “trump” state & local law (9th & 10th Amendments be damned!, to say nothing of Article VI), all that needs be done is for the “federal” Congress to make legislation which “occupies a field and intends a complete ouster.” And this “doctrine” applies specifically to the Bill of Rights. I am perfectly aware that it isn’t popular to quote the likes of “The Monarchist,” Alexander Hamilton, within Southern Nationalist circles in these sorts of discussions, but will quote him nonetheless (Federalist no. 84), to wit:

I go further, and affirm that bills of rights, in the sense and to the extent in which they are contended for, are not only unnecessary in the proposed Constitution, but would even be dangerous. They would contain various exceptions to powers not granted; and, on this very account, would afford a colorable pretext to claim more than were granted. For why declare that things shall not be done which there is no power to do? Why, for instance, should it be said that the liberty of the press shall not be restrained, when no power is given by which restrictions may be imposed? I will not contend that such a provision would confer a regulating power; but it is evident that it would furnish, to men disposed to usurp, a plausible pretense for claiming that power. They might urge with a semblance of reason, that the Constitution ought not to be charged with the absurdity of providing against the abuse of an authority which was not given, and that the provision against restraining the liberty of the press afforded a clear implication, that a power to prescribe proper regulations concerning it was intended to be vested in the national government. This may serve as a specimen of the numerous handles which would be given to the doctrine of constructive powers, by the indulgence of an injudicious zeal for bills of rights.

      (emphasis mine)

Sometimes you just have to shut up and listen to your staunchest adversaries; they know themselves and their characteristics better than we know them. …

Hamilton’s arch enemy, Jefferson, was certainly right when he wrote (more than once) that (paraphrase) ‘the People thought they’d secured themselves against constructive powers in their tenth amendment.’ And, yet… here we are.

The article is excellent, by the way.

      1. Thanks, that was educational! I have Federalist and Anti-Federalist papers (book) that I havent read yet. I still believe, with my layman’s knowledge, the Anti-Federalists are vindicated, after all.

        Best Wishes!

      2. Dixie Serb:

Yeah, they’ve been vindicated. My point was/is simply that the Bill of Rights is no obstacle to the left, or, as Hamilton described a certain type in the Federalist quote I cited above, “men disposed to usurp.” By the way, I have several volumes of the cloth-covered hard-bound Library of America series I purchased a long time ago when I was a subscriber, which include The Federalist Papers, the Anti-Federalist Papers, Jefferson’s writings, Teddy Roosevelt’s autobiography, etc. Here is the link to the collection, in case you’re interested:

Back in August, 2010, I gave an introductory speech before a meeting of approx. 100 people in which (holding up a copy of the Constitution in my left hand) I said, “you can’t possibly understand this,” then (raising my copy of the Federalist Papers in my right hand), “until you’ve read and understood this.” Then I told the group to procure a good dictionary of the time “because you’re going to need it!” I recommended, and recommend, Webster’s 1828 American Dictionary of the English Language. I have two copies of it that my kids have always used for school work, but here is a link to an online version I still use from time to time.:

        1. Fantastic! Thanks.

“men disposed to usurp” is no more fitting term, in lieu of the Sussmann verdict. D.C. that gangster den needs to be leveled.

          Thanks again Mr. Morris

      3. Interesting tack you take in your reply — quoting Hamilton. Patrick Henry, opposed to the whole idea of a Constitutional Convention, was somewhat pacified by the addition of a Bill of Rights to the document into grudgingly acceding to it.

I’ve come to appreciate the terse common sense of John Adams and Gouverneur Morris:

“Reason, justice, and equity never had weight enough on the face of the earth to govern the councils of men. It is INTEREST ALONE which does it.”

John Adams, ‘Madison Papers 1, 36.”

“What does it signify that men should have a written Constitution, containing unequivocal provisions and limitations? The legislative lion will not be entangled in the meshes of a logical net. The idea of binding legislators by oaths is puerile. Having sworn to exercise the powers granted, according to their true intention and meaning, they will, when they feel a desire to go further, avoid the shame, if not the guilt of perjury, by swearing the true intent and meaning to be, according to their comprehension, that which suits their purpose.” [from Albert Taylor Bledsoe, ‘Is Davis a Traitor’ p. 46.]

Gouverneur Morris, ‘Life and Writings’, vol. 3 pp. 323 & 203.

        1. German Confederate, you wrote:

Interesting tack you take in your reply — quoting Hamilton.

Yes. I’ll try to explain as briefly as possible. You then wrote:

Patrick Henry, opposed to the whole idea of a Constitutional Convention, was somewhat pacified by the addition of a Bill of Rights to the document into grudgingly acceding to it.

Nor was he the only one thus pacified. Recall from Jefferson’s letter to Madison (18 Nov., 1788), the following passage may be extracted:

With respect to the Federalist, the three authors had been named to me. I read it with care, pleasure & improvement, and was satisfied there was nothing in it by one of those hands, & not a great deal by a second. It does the highest honor to the third, as being, in my opinion, the best commentary on the principles of government which ever was written. In some parts it is discoverable that the author means only to say what may be best said in defence of opinions in which he did not concur. But in general it establishes firmly the plan of government. I confess it has rectified me in several points. (As to the bill of rights however I still think it should be added, and I am glad to see that three states have at length considered the perpetual re-eligibility of the president as an article which should be amended. I should deprecate with you indeed the meeting of a new convention. I hope they will adopt the mode of amendment by Congress & the Assemblies, in which case I should not fear any dangerous innovation in the plan. But the minorities are too respectable not to be entitled to some sacrifice of opinion in the majority. Especially when a great proportion of them would be contented with a bill of rights.) [emphasis mine -T.M.]

          https://founders.archives.gov/documents/Madison/01-11-02-0257

Concerning Gouverneur Morris (no relation to yours truly that I currently know of), you’re probably aware that he was considered by his contemporaries and peers to be a political genius. As such, and as you’re probably also aware, Hamilton – whose original idea it was to write the essays known as The Federalist – initially chose Mr. Morris to assist him & Jay in the project. Mr. Morris declined the invitation due to conflicting business obligations elsewhere, as I recall. Madison was later selected in his place, and the rest is history, as they say. It is my belief that, in the quotation from Jefferson’s letter to Madison I’ve included above, it is Hamilton Mr. Jefferson is referring to when he states that “it does the highest honor to the third,” since it is Hamilton to whom the largest number of the papers in question may be accredited. Of course, there is the yet ongoing dispute over authorship (between Hamilton & Madison) of several of the papers, but that is another story entirely and for another day.

I seem to recall from Madison’s introduction of the Bill of Rights in the HoR, that he acknowledges the force of Hamilton’s (Federalist 84) argument against a Bill of Rights being added to the Constitution, but I’m too lazy to look that up this early in the morning.

          1. I hadn’t been familiar with the letter of Jefferson to Madison, but very much appreciate your including it in your reply. It makes me question though why Jefferson then later looked on Patrick Henry as a political apostate, if he too held moderate views at variance with those of an anti-federalist hardliner such as John Randolph of Roanoke, as evidenced in his famous debate with Henry at the Charlotte Courthouse in 1799.

  3. Great article today. I particularly liked the line “But each man that donned a uniform, whether they were drafted or duped, still sought to protect a country they sincerely believed was the best on earth. They honestly felt that the United States was the pinnacle of Western Civilization and they sought to preserve her in perpetuity. Men who offer their lives for ideals are noble.” Many people in the Dissident Right (particularly those still attached to the “Alt-Right” label) tend to take a negative view of soldiers because of the repercussions of the war (which the grunt has no control over. They ignore the passage from Scripture, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” The young man doesn’t know why his country is at war, only that he must protect his friend. That should never be mocked or dismissed and should be remembered on this day.

    1. Thank you, Sir.

You are correct. Far too many in the Dissident Right dismiss the real impetus to fight and sacrifice oneself. It has nothing to do with politics or “racial reckonings,” etc, etc. Most often – historically – it really was often as simple as “my friends are marching to war and I want to help them come home.”

      God Bless,
      Padraig Martin

  4. I’ve said before I had lived on the side of the dormant volcano where the memorial cemetery to the Men and Woman who fought and died in the pacific are at rest, there is a perpetual flame about a quarter mile away at the Capital building, sighted by palm trees on either side. The book iron curtain over America has the image of the Christian crosses that adorned each gravesite on the back of the book cover, in which the crosses had been taken down around the time of publication of that book. (Beaty 1951).
Our neighborhood had been inundated with South Pacific Islanders who were relocated from atolls from Guam to the bikini islands. Just dumped on Hawaii while moneyed interest and the military form bases and resorts in the South Pacific. You are not allowed to build taller than the trees in the viewing area of the perpetual flame, it’s an unobstructed view of those who fought for the ideals of freedom.
It got pretty ugly under the trees where you could not see, let me tell you. All while Obama builds his palace where Higgins lived on the show magnum pi.
It’s not easy but I have grown up with Memorial Day in my heart everyday, living there, and I would bet there are just as many Sons of the South at rest up there as any other.
I have always felt uneasy about my Confederate kin fighting for the Yankee power, but I have been so far removed from the South, it’s leadership and the Confederate flag that had adorned it for well over a century, that I have no right to judge.

God Bless the South and all those who fought for the promise of Freedom.

    1. Thank you kindly for your compliment and blessings.

      God Bless,
      Padraig Martin

      1. Thank you for all of your work.
I read you on Gab also.
I just talked to someone who was alive when the Christian Crosses were removed from the memorial cemetery on top of punch bowl, (name of dormant Volcano in Honolulu) I was told there was a big Christian Cross removed on top of punch bowl overlooking the city also, so when you looked through the perpetual flame dedicated to the fallen, that’s what you would have seen a half or so mile away.
It would and should of been seen by millions of visitors to Hawaii, from all points in the city, even flying in. What a disgrace.
I have always thought that the destruction of the South was the destruction of the reformation and as mature Christianity would ever get in America up to this point in time.

God Bless all that you do.

  5. I’m almost ready to erect a monument to Mr. Padraig. ANOTHER great article sir. And even Mr. Morris crafted an intelligent comment!
Those who don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
    Let’s not repeat it.
We understand the deep state hijacked our government, military, academia, media, church, etc.
We understand an analogy of our situation being loosely similar to that of the passengers on the Titanic is fair.
So what would aaalllll the true southern patriots of old ( if brought in a time machine to about 2015 and been thoroughly briefed about all that led upto then … then watched for themselves from 2015 to now ), advise us to do?

Would they say it’s time to “talk?” 🙂

I watched the final part of the Depp Heard soap opera and “the instructions the ( woman ) judge gave the jurors. Want to know what’s wrong with America? Listen to the jury instructions. Like most things in ‘modern’ society, it’s very carefully crafted to ‘demasculinize’ and dewhite the group. To prevent any normal John Wayne / Clint Eastwood ‘man’ from being – what he is – ‘superior.’ See, we wise and streetwise elder white males who’ve been around the block 100 X are not to rise above the dumbed downed brainwashed equals. We’re supposed to sit like little mice … waiting for some hip hop listening to muh fuha and sheboon pipe in with their under 50 IQ opinions before we squeak.

Gentlemen … it’s waaayyy past time to stop playing (((their))) game.
It’s time to found a new Confederacy with it’s own new Memorial Day.

    1. And even Mr. Morris crafted an intelligent comment!

Thanks for the compliment. I think. LOL

    2. Thank you for the compliment, Sir.

The best thing White Southern Men can do is simply not comply and reassert themselves. In my personal opinion, that has to begin in the hyper feminized churches.

      God Bless,
      Padraig Martin

      1. Yes … and at work / business. Hire and promote and patronize normal men and women. Fire and don’t promote woketards, and loud disrespectful women. Remember the music video : Head Over Heels by – Tears For Fears? Sorry to use pansy’s as an example but, the quite librarian girl in that … where are girls like that now? And that subject reminds me of the song “where have all the cowboys gone.” They’ve been neutered by possessed Jews in the media.
Can’t wait to see you do an article on an all white enlarged CSA 2.0 🙂

  6. RE BLM riots: Italian-Americans were the one group to defend their (C. Columbus) statues during the riots. I chalk it up to the more rowdy temperament of Southern Europeans

    1. Benjamin:

Every October in my State like clockwork, the “merciless Indian Savages” who form a proportion of its inhabitants go on the proverbial “war path,” trying to get the State Congress and/or the Governor (by executive order) to change the name of “Columbus Day” in the State to “Native American Day,” or something like that. So far, they’ve been unsuccessful in their attempts, but of course many of them are relentless and “merciless,” to borrow again from Jefferson, and they’ll probably get it done eventually if they just stay after it. Which I fully expect them to do.

  7. White Americans to whom the country was gifted by blood sacrifices on foreign soil will simply shrug.

This is literally true. My boomer mom, when I complained about all the gay bumper stickers on cars, acted annoyed with me, “I dont care”.

Its that “live and let live” attitude that got us here

    1. What it is “exactly” is 1. The inner lazy voice ( action requires effort. ) 2. No training / education. There’s no “standard generational training” in the home AND of course zero in any gov’t or even private schools.

  8. Padriag,
A well composed and presented, albeit dark, perspective. Pragmatically I, too, struggle with Rah Rah nationalism and patriotism. Mostly because I see it as another weaponized character trait against our White People.
But “They” died for me. More important, They died for my kids.
Yes all is Fake and Gay now. And the Soviet Republic of America is trending. But the house is divided (luckily) and will not stand.

The blood of many of my ancestors (you have me beat…my kin showed up in 1690, indentured servant from England) remind me that the fight lies ahead. If your intent was to motivate me and shake others from their slumber, then well done. My regular prayer is that I get to fight, to limit the suffering of my children.
The storm is upon us for sure. I’m thankful Jesus has won the spiritual war. It’s a matter of how we serve him in the physical world, in conflict, that I’ll be judged for.
    Onward.

  9. Thank you for these tough, but truthful words. Hopefully, our perseverance will inspire a generation that will rise up and take back what is by right, theirs.

    1. Father Dabney:

I used to argue that, in my humble estimation, it will take at least three (3) generations (I’m using roughly 20 years as a generation, so, roughly fifty or sixty years) raised and educated on a steady diet of the core principles we discuss and advocate within these circles, before we’re/they’re ready again for self-government. And no one has as yet convinced me otherwise. So, I agree with you when you say that we must persevere, in spite of the (apparently insurmountable) odds against us. I emphasize the word “apparently” in parenthesis in qualification to the word “insurmountable” because I believe appearances are often very deceiving, and this case presents no exception to the rule. As you say, we must have faith in the righteousness of our cause and continue to persevere. And it all begins with seceding in one’s mind.

      1. Yes! What’s a few generations in light of eternity. God holds us responsible for how we obey Him, not outcomes.

  10. Hey Paddy, I’m truly concerned with ID followers being duped into the role that the Azov Battalion play(ed) in Ukraine. First, they were coerced into serving as the battering ram in the Maidan Revolution. Then, they were sent to the gauntlet of Russian power, Maruipol. Once their usefulness was no longer needed, the Leftist Zelensky abandoned them. Now they are in Putin’s gallows. All their efforts were guided by the same elements of Zionism that they opposed, but the opportunities to vent their frustrations were presented and their enthusiasm used against them. Beware, Zionism targets all liberty except what they possess. Guard your reactions, plot your advance and vet your colleagues. Go with God, Jesus leads.

    1. Hello Randy,

Thank you for your concern. Whereas the opinions within Identity Dixie differ among its contributors, the majority of us are anti-Zelenskyy. Generally, we feel for the pain and suffering of innocent Ukrainians, but simultaneously understand why Putin/Russia took the actions it took. In fact, I wrote about this subject about a three months ago. As for Azov Battalion, we have no strong feelings for them one way or the other. They embrace a lot of NSDAP and White Nationalist iconography that contradicts our ethnocentric philosophy of Southern Nationalism. We understand why they would fight for Ukraine (it makes sense) and it does not surprise me that a globalist puppet would send them to get slaughtered in Mariupol. That is tragic. However, ID has no position or involvement with the war in Ukraine. Our fight is at home.

      God Bless,
      Padraig Martin

  11. Nice work Padraig.I agree that we did fight the wrong opponent in WW2,but the Satanic Jews controlled our governments even then.Only God can bring enlighten to the sinners who seem to enjoy sinning so much that they betray their race and culture and Lord(that goes triple for White women). All these horrors are Satan trying to hurt God’s children via total world control. They don’t care about profits like some think, they want hollowed out nations and murder on a scale never seen.Synagogue of Satan is at its peak and then Christ returns and He will.Thank you for your great efforts and bless all here who come in good faith(curse all hasbara and gov provocateurs).Christ has already won the final victory for us.And I’m glad this site weeds out any of the fake pro-White commenters who are anti-Christian,I’m convinced they are all hasbara Jews anyway. The White race and God are the same team.
