100 Days After: A Dispatch

BROADCAST TRANSCRIPT FROM MOUNT MITCHELL, NC [Loc. no. 88- 4625 kHz]

Item 1: An estimated 300 Federal troops from the 2nd Trans Battalion along with dozens of fighters from the U.S. Unified Gang Corps were defeated in heavy fighting in the Buckhead District, Atlanta. This ends the month-long attempt to overrun this important strategic location in the Fourth Confederacy.

Item 2: Samhain fighters from the Second Vermont Republic successfully defended a major assault from several wayward Latinx Platoons from what is left of the 10th Mountain Division. This defeat likely means the end of Federal assault capabilities in the region due to destroyed supply lines to the upper coastal area from New Brunswick to Albany.

Item 3: The Fourth Confederacy Alabama-Mississippi Alliance is in final negotiations with the Birmingham-Jackson Black Nationalists to settle boundaries in a proposed 10-mile neutral zone buffering their area. A 30-day Black Safe Passage is in effect for any refugees traveling to the BirmJax Territory (BJT) whose borders were agreed to last month. Interstate 20 from Jackson to Atlanta bisects the 70-mile wide BJT.

Item 4: Contamination in the D.C. Dead Zone is still Level 4. Super mutants have been sighted and will continue to be liquidated as they attempt to cross the perimeter which now extends as far west as Manassas. Baltimore to Quantico remain sealed for public safety.

Item 5: The Primitive Baptist Latin Rite Bund will be conducting their largest live fire exercise to date in several locations across the Smokey-Blue Ridge territory. No one will be allowed to enter these locations during this two week joint maneuver. All local communities will be invited to a pulled pork festival as recompense for the inconvenience.

Item 6: The Sino-Canadian Liberation Army has extended the frontline nearly 100 miles south of Lake Erie with the line now running from Syracuse to Pittsburgh, Indianapolis to Minneapolis. It is estimated that it will take several more weeks for the population to be processed into SCLA camps in the former Great Lakes region. Federal defense positions along this massive front are also fighting against a newly opening southern front as frequent raids from Plains and Mountain settlements harass Federal positions.

Item 7: As of yesterday, everything south of the former Arizona and New Mexico northern border is now under total control of Nueva Totleca (formerly the Sinaloa Cartel) and the Yucatan Caliphate. The easternmost border remains fluid with sporadic fighting as far east as San Antonio. Federal defense positions along the Colorado River are holding.

Item 8: Neither Federal troops or any non-Federal groups have yet attempted to enter the Greater San Francisco Furry BDSM Autonomous Zone. While reports of mass starvation and cannibalism can now be verified, unsettling video leaks estimate that the Men’s Choir now numbers nearly 30,000.

Item 9: The massive LDS Greater Salt Lake North West Corridor remains steadfastly opposed to appeals by other non-Federal groups to extend aid within the Corridor to any non-LDS members.  LDS Deputy Secretary Trey Parker also announced that LDS troops would not stop fighting Federal and Antifada forces until Seattle was conquered, stating “Words cannot express how much I hate you guys.” Studio C’s 24-hour broadcasting has continued uninterrupted since The Cataclysm.

Item 10: Unification Talks for September 17th have been confirmed with delegates from all non-Federal regions agreeing to meet inside the Fourth Confederacy, location to be announced. Though regional consolidation will be one of the most contentious items at the talks, optimism remains high.

Final: Next broadcast 1500 Hours: Nations Rise International Report

  1. It was nice to dream about having media for once in my life. We are blind as bats and will continue to be until we hammer out the narrative for our reporters and hand them a script complete with terminology we wrote for them. Then we need men who actually understand they are the scouts for our people and owe allegiance to no others.

Thanks for letting an old man dream, now I know how they must have felt in the 50s when War of the World’s came on, it was fun to play along.
