When Conscience is No Burden

Watching Biden and Harris cheerfully heap derision on an innocent man who’ll spend the rest of his life in a cage fills many of us with disgust. After all, he was serving the power structure over which they ostensibly preside. This is the ghoulish mentality required for such people to get ahead in a system as terminally dysfunctional as our own.

That’s why they’re qualified to be at the top. It’s certainly not because of intelligence or a talent for mendacity. They’ll sing the tune of the time, so they often completely contradict the impassioned stances they’d taken earlier in their careers.

Harris has a transparently insincere personality and sociopathic cackle, but Biden genuinely loves his son no matter how much trouble that misfit causes him. There are some stark differences between the two.

So, I don’t think this phenomenon can simply be written off as pure sociopathy. One can be able to empathize with other people while not caring about what happens to them if he perceives it to be for his own benefit. It’s better to think in terms of a lack of conscience and future time orientation.

For instance, Biden will certainly leave his family with wealth and status but not an instructive example to follow or a legacy they’ll be able to take pride in. Moreover, money won’t insulate them from the malign influences he’s served.

This is the ethical math that permeates our system at every level. Local prosecutors are at the bottom rung of climbers. It’s impossible for those in the Chauvin case not to be convinced of his innocence, otherwise their strategy wouldn’t have been to focus on an emotional appeal that sidestepped the pertinent evidence.

Do you think they’re losing sleep wondering how they’ll be held to account for doing such an evil thing? Or, are they celebrating and looking forward to the judgeships and other lucrative appointments coming their way?

We should also keep in mind that while the functionaries in our system are sickening on a moral level, this doesn’t mean they want it to fall apart. It does no good for politicians to preside over riots that leave their constituencies in ruins. The statements being made suggest that they want the conviction to serve as an example of why there shouldn’t be a repeat of 2020.

However, they’re acting in the service of a Zionist plutocracy which sees a war on Heritage America and the 1st world functionality of our country as useful to its broader objectives. Therefore, they’ve got to go along with things that make life difficult for themselves. It’s impossible to make sense of the contradictions without this context.

In other words, would the politicians rather indulge their favorite pastimes and skip the chaos? Sure, but that doesn’t seem to be what the people pulling the strings want to happen. It’s probable we’ll be seeing a nasty repeat of last year.

  1. Officer Derek Chauvin is another example of somebody believing in TheSystem… and that backfired on him.

Almost as if TheSystem is designed to fail.
