I estimate the belief that no mercy should be shown to the Canadian Convoy and the belief that the BLM/Antifa rampage of 2020 was fine to correlate at roughly 100%. This is what’s known as a perfectly positive correlation (+1.0). Although, there isn’t much of anything positive about these people and I wish the planet could be rid of them.
The official scientific term is White Shitlib Idiots. They don’t formulate their beliefs, although they believe they’re so smart they arrived at these beliefs on their own. In reality, things are put in their heads by string pullers who know they can be manipulated by marketing a particular belief as characteristic of morality and sophistication.
As they are neither moral nor sophisticated, these beliefs are adopted without regard to factual substantiation, contradictions, and sound reasoning in order to feel a sense of superiority to the White proles. To enhance the psychological effect, the proles are often defined to them as contemptible strawmen. For example, the 30-year-old dying on a ventilator for refusing the vax or the White supremacist insurrecting against our sacred democracy.
The fact that both tropes are absurd actually pads their weight on the other side of the scale, making them even more compelling to their psychological paradigm. Thus, you’re not going to make any headway with these people by pointing out the absurdity. The cognitive dissonance they’re able to maintain will only lead to anger. They didn’t acquire their beliefs through a rational process, so they won’t be disabused of them through one either.
Why I have to deal with so many of these creatures instead of living on a survival compound in the wilderness is a long story. Anyway, I was recently texted an angry six paragraph screed from a grown man (boosted) who was infuriated at being endangered by my willful lack of vaccination and seemed especially perturbed by my flippant attitude on the matter. After vaccination, his lady (boosted) was hospitalized for over a week with an autoimmune disorder. So, keep that in mind. These are some of his grievances:
- They need to stay safe around friends who aren’t vaccinated
- Refusers make them uncomfortable
- I violated their 6-foot safety zone after not taking their warnings seriously
- Despite my high risk profile, I’m out socializing constantly
- I could be a superspreader
- There was a pregnant woman whose fetus I could’ve killed
- They’re very disturbed by the choices I’ve made despite their consultations about my health
Most of these are so absurd they don’t require addressing. As far as the pregnant woman is concerned, she and her husband invited me to the gathering with full knowledge of my status. I’m somewhat young with a healthy BMI. I’ve suffered from one mild cold (might’ve been COVID) in the past five years. However, I made no reply since that would be pointless.
Could he have defended any of his contentions against facts and logic? Of course not, that’s why he’d immediately become angry. At an earlier party, I heard him ranting about how stupid refusers are because they were going to get hooked up to ventilators and die in agony. That’s how heavy the strawman weighs against his psyche. I just had a cigarette and stared out at the Gulf.
Well, I hope their sense of superiority will entertain them as they stay home in fear. I’ll still be out socializing.
I’m proud to officially announce my candidacy for the office of Dogcatcher.
