In many ways I remain deeply skeptical of Trump. Though he has been far better this time around than he was the first, there are still several fundamental problems with him. First and foremost, no matter what one may say of him, his intentions, or his policies he is still a New Yorker. He is not a Southerner. Southerners must rule the South- not Bush, Obama, Biden, or Trump- no matter how much the first one liked to LARP as a Texan. He still tends to get into pointless fights and I deeply worry about his fixation with standing up to “antisemitism.” And related to that, his vanity leads him to trying far too hard to reach out to people who do not like him and never will. Still, I am a man who believes in giving credit where credit is due and something I will absolutely applaud Trump for is granting refugee status to around 60 White South African Afrikaners. The Afrikaners have been ruled by a government that absolutely hates them for 30 years and it is about to get worse. The African National Congress, the backbone of the Marxist opposition to Apartheid, is in deep trouble. While those who are old enough to remember Apartheid have an almost cult-like loyalty to them, the younger generation wonders why they have not been able to give them the better life they were promised and are turning against them, and turning, most importantly and frequently, to the even more overtly anti-White Economic Freedom Fighters. This puts the ANC in a bad position long term as every year blacks who remember Apartheid die off and those who cannot remember come of age.
The ANC will need a scapegoat to maintain power and the Afrikaners will make an incredibly easy one. What was once a slow burn genocide will soon turn most more overt, and I thank Trump for getting them out before it gets even worse than it is. It is also worth pointing out that unlike most of the immigrants that have been moved in for the past several decades, the Afrikaners have valuable skills. During Apartheid South Africa was a wealthy and well-functioning country even in the face of near unanimous international opposition. The Afrikaners were at the core of that once thriving economy. Furthermore, unlike virtually all the immigrants that have come since 1965 the Afrikaners are Dutch decedent and as such share a similar northwestern European mindset that also informs the Anglo-Celtic core of Dixie. In other words, they will be far better able to assimilate.
The left’s resulting freakout was completely predictable, but it does require further examination. Afterall, why did they react so badly? As stated before, the number of Afrikaners coming is very tiny. It is certainly not enough to flip any state as the left has done for years with their preferred immigrants. So, wouldn’t this mean the better strategy would be to hold their tongue and just let this past when their numbers are so few? Afterall, by reacting this way they are further showing normies that the immigration push was about power, not about compassion. If it was ever about compassion, they would not be demanding that White Trump voters work for $5 an hour. They were never concerned about the living conditions of immigrants. They just wanted voters who would give them a permanent lock on power.
Part of it is just simple partisanship. Because Trump did it, they must oppose it. It is the same impulse that has led the left to become far more hawkish over the past decade. But there are also darker reasons. It is difficult to overstate just how deep the desire is to see the White race exterminated. By letting Afrikaners into the US, no matter how few in number, means that they will not be killed and that is unacceptable. Remember there is very little the White race can do to make our enemies like us. Sweden never was part of the slave trade and avoided any significant colonialism. It’s foray into empire was brief, ended centuries ago and was focused on the Baltic. It has also been a deeply secular and permissive society for decades. She has done everything the left wants but they still want native Swedes to be a minority in their own land.
But there is also another reason- the left understands the domino effect the Afrikaners bring with them. The Afrikaners will integrate themselves into the broader communities in which they live, and as they begin to do this, something important will happen. They will begin to talk. They will tell their new neighbors of what life in South Africa is actually like and the establishment cannot allow that to happen. They will tell their new neighbors of the horrible persecution they face, of the farm attacks that are almost too brutal to comprehend. Of the assaults on women and even children. And with that an even greater awareness of just how badly despised the White race is will develop. Southerners in particular will be receptive to this messaging.
To some extent this has already happened. The power of the legacy media to control information has been drastically weakened. The true nature of the farm attacks can no longer be easily censored. Many normies have already made contact with Afrikaners due to issues unrelated to race and have been told of the truth of the Rainbow Nation. I can remember several years ago a guy I worked with came up to me and asked me what I knew about the attacks on Whites in South Africa. After telling him what I knew it then told me that he had met a couple of South Africans online through shared interest in a video game where they told him what they were facing. But with the arrival of these Afrikaners, it will no longer be simply a chilling Facebook post or even talking to someone online, but rather an actual neighbor. And these people will tell their friends and family of what is happening. And those people will tell their friends and family. And those people will tell others and so on. Soon normies will be aware and all it took was 60 people. The left knows this and that is why they’re panicking.
