Riding the Orange Wave

As the political tide rises, and the Orange Julius of Caesars triumphs gloriously over his enemies, brothers and sisters, we also must rise to the occasion. We need to squeeze every bit of juice out of the fruit of current political engagement. Southern Nationalists must focus on usurping the propaganda, reimagining the narrative, or our people will embrace the standard norms of Americanism again.

In the last fifty years, the rising wave of Southern rebirth and secessionism has been dashed against the rocks, by events that tempted our passions away from our own independence. Repeatedly, we have been mesmerized again and again, by chants of “U-S-A,” and the star-spangled red, white, and blue of American patriotism. This time, we are prepared.

When Ronald Reagan entered office, America was in decline. In that political and cultural vacuum, Southern culture dominated the spirit of America. Lynyrd Skynyrd, Hank Jr, Charlie Daniels, Dolly, Dukes of Hazard, Billy Graham, and others, propagated our ideas, way of life, religion, all over the globe. The world’s heroes were the men and women of Dixie, immortalized in movies like Gone with the Wind. Tourist from all over the globe came to visit our monuments, hear the stories of our people, visit the homes and graves of our philosophers, poets, and statesman. But the specter of communist expansion paralyzed our momentum and sucked our people back into the arms of an empire that was desperate for our natural inclination to patriotic duty in times of trouble.

Fortunately, we were able to re-establish our surge towards independence during the 1990s and the first part of the 21st century. Multiple organizations were growing, building robust organizations, with tens of thousands of dues paying members. Southern ideas were dominating the political discussions, with giants like Pat Buchanan, Sam Francis, and Ron Paul. The Southern Partisan, a periodical, far surpassed any political or cultural magazine of its time. But as the Empire is wont to do, it drew our people back into its international conflicts. The First Gulf War was the first strategic move, culminating in the subsequent Middle Eastern wars after the “attacks” on September 11, 2001. Because of the patriotic nature of the Southern people, we were once again duty-bound to defend our homes, regardless of the validity of the cause or consequences of the conflict.

Thankfully, that was a misstep by the ruling powers, and many young Southern janissaries came home with a distaste, mistrust, and a spirit broken for any more foreign entanglements. And it is that wave of non-interventionist energy that propelled a dramatic turn to the Right, culminating in the remarkable election of Donald John Trump.

For the Southern Nationalist, 2015 was the rebirth of our struggle, as an all-out assault raged for years against everything Southern. Our flags were taken down from statehouses and memorials, museums were burned, men were destroyed privately and publicly for views that only a few years ago were not just acceptable, but lauded. But nothing was more egregious than the desecration of the graves of our Southern fathers. Tears of rage filled my eyes when I learned of the prominent exhumations of General Forrest and his bride Mary. Then, they desecrated the resting place of General A.P. Hill. From that point, there was no turning back, it was victory or death.

We started to build; we started to network, and most importantly, we started to propagandize. Rebel Yell and Identity Dixie became the voices of the dissident Southerner. From the courage we projected, and many other voices reignited the flames of Southern patriotism. Today, our narratives are echoed in many other tangential movements. Christian Nationalism, a growing and increasingly powerful movement, is just the expansion of our Southern Nationalist ideals, broadcast over the entirety of the American Empire. Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth are just one degree of separation from Christian Nationalism, and the ideas spread from our nationalist revival for Dixie.

Going forward, we must pivot, and embrace the wave energized by Orange Julius Caesar. But, brothers and sisters, we must do so much more. In this current imperial revival, we must subvert and usurp everything! All the origins of Trump’s popularity are Southern. Knowingly or not, he mimics Andrew Jackson, George Wallace, Huey Long, and idealizes Robert E. Lee. Even his expansionist inclination is hemispherical, just as the Golden Circle of the Confederacy, or the doctrine of Virginian President James Monroe. At every turn, we must remind our people that the South and our ideas are why Trump is succeeding.

The theme of our engagement should be, “Everything you love about America is Southern”.

Let’s ride the wave!

Deo Vindice!

God save the South!
