8 Years Later

As one ages, you begin to realize that life is a learning experience until your number comes up, at which point you’ll have to face the Final Judgement. We all know plenty of people who seem to learn nothing. They simply react from one crisis to the next without introspection. Personally, I find the implications unsettling.

In hindsight, the COVID injections and the insanity in my life that unfolded as a result was a confirmatory experience. Watching all the SWPL white people lose their minds and tell me I was crazy for refusing injections made me feel crazy.

One of my friends dropped dead and everyone else pretended to themselves it was some freak occurrence. We were in a fitness club together and he could outrun me, then he’s face down dead in his kitchen. Another one of our friends got a horrific infection in her eyes right after her second injection.

I remember feeling crazed and wondering what sort of alchemy they were performing in their minds to feel as if they were on the correct course of action. I was accused of being a nutjob by friends and family members for not getting the injections. Nobody has ever admitted that I was right after it all turned out to be a total sham. Being right gains one no credibility with these gullible people. That might be one of the most important lessons I learned from it all.

It’s as if the insanity of those years never happened. Everybody just moved on, and yet there will be an accounting. We’re treading in the water as it flows under the bridge. Occasionally, somebody drowns.

During this period, I was interred against my will in a gulag on a foreign military base and also spent years in a sort of exile from the United States. The embassy was sending out these warning emails about how if you didn’t get your ass back to America soon be prepared not to come back for quite a while and that turned out to be right.

Although, eventually this turned out to be for vaccine refusal on my part because there would’ve been no way for me to make a dollar in America without the injections. It was a complicated situation, but this would be a summary. The money kept coming in for me, and I fared much better than people who lost their businesses due to the shutdowns. I was lucky.

I spent most of this time drinking, womanizing, and feeling crazy. I’m a reasonable person with a non-capitulatory personality, and everything was just so unreasonable. The Chinese were literally sodomizing State Department people with COVID tests among other wild stuff that was happening all over the world. You just sort of move along and try to learn what you can as it happens. I also had lots of fun during this time, so I can’t complain.

During the COVID panic, Donald Trump was running for reelection. He’s at it one last time. I find myself reminiscing because I was in DC during the wake of his inauguration back in January 2017. As fate would have it, I’ll be in DC right after the elections next week on unrelated business. It should be quite interesting.

There’s been so much that’s transpired in all of our lives since November of 2016 and, especially, in our sphere of dissident publications. I feel as if I aged 20 years in the past 8. We’re still alive and in the game, so at certain junctures it’s helpful to take stock of the situation. We’re missing the point if we’re not learning, but life can move so fast that one must be deliberate about it.

  1. Now you’ve done it. George Jones’ “I’ve Aged Twenty Years In Five” is gonna be running through my head all day.

  2. A wise saying a Doctor who went to my church I grew up in.

His quote: ( Getting Old is not for sissy’s )

  3. My Heart goes out to you Mr. Shackleford.
I was on a big job in Hawaii when the ‘Pandemic’ hit, Waikiki became a ghost town, police were acting like children flying their drones up and down the beaches. An interstate highway was used to corral people and shove that q-tip rod up their noses.
The military checked my temperature before I was allowed in the airport to get out of there. (fearing I would be stuck in Hawaii)
Back to western Washington and the most progressive minded people in the U.S. ‘Get vaccinated washington’ digital read out boards every 10 miles on I-5.
The rumour spread that the state of Washington was going to mandate the shot. Disturbing time to say the least. Property values quadrupled, the most remote places on the eastern slopes of the cascades became littered with humanity of every color, to this day!

God Bless You Sir for holding your ground. I wish I had been more vocal to others about taking that poison. I know in my heart that Jesus Christ is our greatest strength against any and all Weapons formed against us. He is the healing hand of God and the sanctity of life.

  4. I knew the fix was in when it came out that certain positions in the US were exempt from jab mandates. Congessmen, senators, their staffs and postal carriers being some of these. I’m confident much of the state and federal bureaucracy likewise exempted themselves.

But on an uplifting note: libs were a lot more likely to get the clot shot than we were.

  5. Great piece. You nailed my exact feelings with the aging twenty years in the past eight. Let’s hope that trend does not continue
