The Midterm’s New Boogeyman: The Christian Nationalist

As we approach the midterm elections, the opposition is trying to raise their newest boogeyman. White Nationalism have long been the boogeyman of the past, but recently that is not enough. The newest boogeyman is Christian Nationalism. Using a misinterpretation of separation of Church and State, the Left has long advocated for a complete lack of “religion” in politics, more specifically Christianity. I use quotes because there is always something that can be interpreted as a religion that gets infused in politics, whether it be modernity, Satanism, money worship (mammon), lust for power, or heretical naturism.

How does the Left make Christian Nationalism the new boogeyman? By trying to convince the public that the old boogeyman, White Nationalism, is just masquerading under the new name of Christian Nationalism. This increases the size of the group and makes it more frightening for normies. Additionally, it forces a division among Christians. You don’t want to be part of the wrongthink Christians, you want to be part of the tolerant Christians, you want to be part of the Christians that allow drag queen story hour in your local church, because only evil Christian Nationalists think that sort of behavior should be prohibited. Watch out for the bad Christians when voting, because you don’t want the wrong Christians in political office; they might stop infanticide or something.

There is also the claim that Christian Nationalism is a threat to our democracy. And, if you are an adherent to Christian Nationalism, you are thereby claiming the Constitution as an enemy and must be torn down and thrown out, as opposed to the writers of the Constitution – created by Christian men with Christian morals. These were men that wanted religious freedom, not to live in a state that forced a specific religion on the population (which is what we’re currently undergoing, just because it is not a religion based on an omnipotent being does not mean it is not a religion).

Last time I checked, the Ten Commandments didn’t seem too unfair to me and most of the rules laid out in the Bible are the basis for our legal system and how it operates today (to a certain extent). The claim, though, is that Christain Nationalism will not compromise. This is correct, in a sense; we should not compromise and allow something as insidious as subjecting children to drag queen story hour. Where this claim is entirely false is the suggestion that Christian Nationalists will not compromise even within the moral framework of the Bible. Christian Nationalism does not stoke divisions among Methodists, Catholics, Baptists or Presbyterians. As long as you believe in the Triune God (Father, Son, and Holy Ghost) and follow the historical Christian moral code, anything is up for discussion. This is not intolerance, but a general understanding of what is morally correct.

What is Christian Nationalism? Simply, it is a belief that our history, culture, and identity are based on Christianity and that we should observe that. The way I see it, you have to look at all the laws and the Constitution through the lens of Christianity. This is the way it was when it was written. It would be the same if you tried to decode a message with the wrong key, the message would be garbled, and then you would have to guess and determine the true meaning.

It seems the biggest fear of Christian Nationalism is the fact that the opposing side cannot promote their degenerate behavior, because it goes against a clear moral code of conduct that is not able to be dissuaded by verbal judo. In my opinion the States governed themselves by Christian morality for a long time. As always, I advocate for States’ Rights and let each State rule themselves. If a State wants to declare Christianity the governing choice, that right should be available, and I am sure those that are not Christians or feel that Christianity oppresses them can find another location that allows them to express their behavior there.

Christian Nationalism, in essence, is pursuing of justice in the political square, working against infanticide and other ungodly practices, protecting the rule of the law, and honoring a well-grounded moral process for passing and amending laws. Not too scary, and certainly not a boogeyman.

  1. I’m Jewish and I support Christian Nationalism. It made our country great for the first 200 years or so of her existence, and it’s far better than what the left is trying to replace it with.

  2. We can save the south and the rest of America in 1 year if we look at it like a big MLM scam. YOU inform / educate 3 to inform / educate 3 to inform / educate 3 ………

The ones that really worked ( till the companies were sold and the agents burned ), were the ones where top rep’s would be at a place EVERY Tuesday ( or whatever ), at such n such a time to HELP EDUCATE NEWBIES NEW REP’S WOULD BRING IN … THEN HE’D HELP THEIR NEW SIGN UPS … AND SO ON …

We need an army of informers to help grow a downline of WHITE SOUTHERN CHRISTIAN NATIONALISTS

  3. From the O.P.:

The way I see it, you have to look at all the laws and the Constitution through the lens of Christianity.

Correct. If one truly wants to understand the original intent of the founders, that is. Your view of the issue puts you in good company in any case. As Noah Webster (the fella who compiled the dictionary) wrote in the preface to his book, History of the United States (c. 1833),

The brief exposition of the Constitution of the United States will unfold to young persons the principles of republican government; and it is the sincere desire of the writer that our citizens should early understand that the genuine source of correct republican principles is the BIBLE, particularly the New Testament, or the Christian Religion.

    You further wrote:

If a State wants to declare Christianity the governing choice, that right should be available,…

And it definitely would be available if enough of the people were truly patriotic (patriotic in the original sense of patriotism, not the idiotic, watered down sense in which most Americans think of patriotism today) and cared anything about what the original intent of the founders were. The so-called “Incorporation Doctrine” – that out-of-thin-air invention of the SUPREMES – would be rejected and declared unConstitutional out of hand, and the Bill of Rights would again be enforced against the only sphere of government it was ever intended to be enforced against – the National government. Of coure each state could adopt the principles of the Bill of Rights if it liked, but the national government could never enforce the Bill of Rights over the individual states, nor the local governments.

…and I am sure those that are not Christians or feel that Christianity oppresses them can find another location that allows them to express their behavior there.

Yep. There are plenty of Moloch worshiping states in this “union” to flee to. And I am very sure those same states would recieve the “refugees” fleeing the “oppression” of Christianity with open, “tolerant,” and loving arms. Speaking of “tolerance” (and “intolerance”) since you mentioned it in the O.P. – the problem of course is that one doesn’t “tolerate” that which he agrees with and/or participates in, (s)he embraces it. The whole basis of tolerance is … disagreement – the only sense of the term that makes any sense is the sense in which one disagrees with a thing, but allows it (I tolerates it) because a, b, c. The left’s sense of “tolerance” and “intolerance” is, well, like most things leftist, nonsensical.

    Good article.

  4. Most of the modern degenerate behaviors we see being promoted by the left can be explained naturalistically E.G. the “mouse utopia experiment”.

When natural predation and such is removed from an environment, such as by levels of high technology we have today making life physically (but not mentally!) easier, you get a behavioral sink– doesn’t matter if the society is Christian, pagan, secular, Moslem, etc.

Totally secular pioneers on the frontier-lands (if any truly existed today) would not exhibit anywhere near the level of social decadecene we’re seeing in the 2022 West.

That’s not to negate the role of Christianity in our society or disprove its truth

  5. Also, its kinda weird they’re setting up “Christian nationalism” as the boogeyman since, at least ostensibly, Blacks are “Christian” at a much higher rate than Whites. How exactly does such a strategy work to make Black people afraid of the new trend in the GOP?

    1. As per the article Christian Nationalism in the media is quickly being labeled a mask for White Nationalism and if you don’t agree you are being labeled the wrong type of Christian.
