Promises Kept

The U.S. Navy finds itself fighting the Houthis once again because Israel has restarted in earnest the genocide operation against the surviving Palestinians of Gaza. The Houthis began their effort to intercept shipping friendly to Israel back in 2023 as response to this genocide, promising to stop when the genocide stopped. This made them heroes across the demoralized Islamic world, which took no meaningful collective action on behalf of the Palestinians due to bribery and intimidation by the United States on behalf of Israel.

The Houthis halted their operation in accordance with the ceasefire agreement reached between Israel and Hamas. Israel never negotiates agreements in good faith, so just from this angle the collapse of the ceasefire was a certainty. Houthis kept their word and refrained from interfering with shipping until the Israelis broke the ceasefire. Compared to Israel and its golem Uncle Sam, I find them rather scrupulous.

The pause in hostilities was not in any way a victory for the U.S. Navy, which never managed to halt the Houthi efforts or damage them in any meaningful capacity. The Saudis spent the better part of a decade with the best American equipment that money could secure and no regard for human life in trying to subdue the Houthis. Their effort was an abject failure. It was a joke that a new round of American airstrikes could accomplish anything.

Still, the first American strikes on Yemen over the maritime blockade were touted as being devastating and decisive. I was told this by American officers who were quite enthusiastic about the prospect of crippling the Houthis. Nothing of substance was achieved, though. It’s just that a ceasefire agreement was reached so the issue went away for a while.

What’s also important to consider is that this is the year 2025. The Houthis field capabilities that the Taliban didn’t have. For instance, they’ve shot down a number of Reaper drones which were signature tools in Central Asia. An F/A-18 was shot down accidently by an American cruiser trying to fend off the Houthis. Intercepting drones and missiles in a modern war is very difficult and dangerous.

So, the situation faced by the U.S. military is as follows: it’s not going to do any better at defeating the Houthi blockade than it did the first time, nor will the results of the devastating strikes suit Trump’s bravado any more than the first round suited the Biden Administration.

The added danger lies in the fact that Trump is blaming Iran for the Houthis and promising to retaliate directly against Iran for Houthi operations. Where things get even more interesting is that the Houthis have also renewed their strikes on Israel itself.

The Russians have fired upwards of perhaps 10,000 cruise missiles into Ukraine thus far and the conflict is still ongoing so there are very obvious limits to what a missile can achieve. However, the thing about Israel is that the Jews aren’t a courageous martial people. They’re aggressive parasites trying to live in Western luxury and safety while a genocide is carried out to open up more real estate for them.

Every single drone and missile from Yemen is a night where these rats are roused from their sleep to scramble out of their real estate and into bomb shelters. These small ticks are actually much more effective at scaring and fatiguing Israelis than the United States could be against Yemenis with yet another bombing campaign.

A significant percentage of the Israeli population has already fled since most Jews don’t have to worry about only having access to one passport. I know one who refers to the Houthis as “the sand people” but now prefers Singapore over Tel Aviv because he’s worried about getting blown up. Even more Israelis are internally displaced. This threatens the functionality of Israeli society.

The resumption of the Houthi blockade and operations against Israel turn very painful political screws on Trump since he was allowed back in office by elite Jews to ensure Israel’s security. It’s being imperiled mostly by Netanyahu’s coalition of retarded, psychotic Jews who now hold the demographic upper hand in Israeli elections.

If Trump is faced with a situation where the Houthis could be intercepting shipping for the rest of his presidency while drones and missiles pitter patter down on Israel from Yemen nightly, this might provoke some desperate measures out of him.

The only outlet for this desperation would be Iran since the U.S. military doesn’t even have the wherewithal to attempt another Afghanistan debacle in Yemen. This is when the situation could spin out of control in a cycle of escalatory retaliation. We’d be in for a bunch of dead Americans and very expensive gasoline at a minimum.
