The Boat Shoe Beat: The Proud Boys

Like most red-blooded men, I like fighting. I played some rugby in college, took boxing classes, and used to be a rabid fan of the NFL. I grew up watching professional rasslin’ on the weekends (WWF and WCW) with my father. It’s natural for a man to enjoy martial and physical sports (even, in the case of Ric Flair and Macho Man Randy Savage, if it’s scripted). Alt-Right types that blindly hate sports, without any nuance in their critiques, are usually weak people. They lack grit, to be honest.

Despite the aristocratic tendencies in some of my family, I have a very healthy appreciation for working-class culture. My father was a redneck. He loved fighting, drinking, smoking, muscle cars, and women. Usually, all at the same time. On the other hand, my other immediate family mandated etiquette classes, reading the Classics, and instilled a love for traditional, gentry Virginia. So, I’ve been able to straddle the line between Ford F-150s with Confederate flag stickers and sporting seersucker at Farmington Country Club. Ultimately, I continue to find myself rooting for the underdog – the working-class rednecks and good ole boys. I can’t help it. I prefer the welder and carpenter to pampered frat bros, despite my affinity for polos and boat shoes.

This is why I like the Proud Boys, although they probably don’t care too much for me or Identity Dixie. In a world where working-class white guys are considered the greatest threat to this country, and the deck is stacked against them culturally and economically, they’re the true underdogs right now. They don’t get a month proclaimed after them, they are smeared in television and film, and, politically, they are hated. Despite the working-class white man literally building the urbanites’ hives a century prior, they have nothing but scorn and resentment for blue-collar men.

And, the Proud Boys, at least to me, seem like the natural and organic working-class resentment manifested as a check on the Establishment. For every action there is a reaction, and black-bloc antifa nutjobs ransacking cities will eventually be met with resistance. Ironically, the antifa, even from a class perspective, are the polar opposite of the Proud Boys. Antifa members are largely from the middle-class or upper-class, think Molotov bomb throwing lawyers or academic cyberstalkers. Whereas, the Proud Boys are bartenders, HVAC technicians, and mechanics. I’ll take a man that works with his hands any day over a prissy middle manager with blue hair.

Of course, legally, the Establishment is completely out to get the Proud Boys. They’re labeled the “new” Brown Shirts, despite not being an overtly racialist group and having zero State-power – they just like to rumble with antifa rioters in the streets. In fact, they have zero power and are prosecuted with a totally unethical zeal. Hell, they’ve been declared a terrorist organization in Canada. The Proud Boys have near limitless negative press coverage and no mainstream rightwing allies. They’re simply working-class conservative men, from across racial lines, that are completely fed up with the system. I can’t say I blame them, I’m a writer in the Dissident Right for similar reasons. Again, they are the underdogs.

No doubt the Feds are currently trying to worm their way into the Proud Boys organization. As the War on Terror stagnates abroad, it will have to return home (those budgets aren’t going to pay for themselves). Since the G-Men are clearly not concerned with antifa terrorism, they’ll get to focus on their political rivals and will surely want to dust off the old Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act to get a nice juicy scalp. They tried to use it on the Hells Angels, they’ll definitely try it on a fraternity of (mostly) white guys that stand up to antifa goons.

In spite of all those challenges, I admire the Proud Boys and am glad to see that they’re still around, although the feeling is likely not mutual. One of our writers recommended several years ago that they remove themselves from street activism and focus on community building, his recommendation was not well received from their corner of the internet. I also recommend that they pass on any and all street activism and focus internally and build their reputation with the people that matter, working-class Heritage Americans. That’s their identity and those are their people.

I sincerely hope they can navigate the very dangerous situation they’re finding themselves in right now. The Establishment owns the courts, prosecutors, media, federal law enforcement, and everything in-between. They want to crush the Proud Boys and will use street activism or, even worse, self-defense to complete their mission.

Take our advice, build and conduct community outreach for your people. Doing disaster relief or helping frozen Texans may not seem as satisfying as coldcocking an antifa punk primed to assault you, but it is critical for your people, as well as, keeping you out of prison.

  1. I wear a bracelet now. Not because I am overly fashionable, but as a reminder. I am from the “working class” which is a term I hate and its decidedly not Southern, but it can severe as a placeholder for now… I guess, anyway a lot of my friends are in jail or worse because, as you pointed out “they” control everything. That control manifests itself with an omnipresent militarized police force and a “Justice” system based on nothing resembling Southern or even sanity for that matter.

For us that means jail, and a lot of it, or just plain dead for any man who behaves as a man should when confronted with Babylon and its minions, it is the natural and healthy response. That response was foreseen by our adversaries and steps were taken to use that natual, Southern male cultural response to their advantage, which culminated with what I began to call tiger traps. They want our men in cages, they want them ignorant, they want them barred from owning weapons, voting, holding positions of power and a myriad of other things including ultimately, dead. They accomplished all of that and more with tiger traps. A situation is purposely created, be it environmentally at work, politically, legally or otherwise in their day to day lives in which its very likely that a man, according to his God given nature, would respond with aggression, which in a functional society keeps the peace and weeds out the pathological elements, among many other things. Prior to that, what has now become a preponderance amount of legal liability is attached to anything even slightly resembling male behavior, in short they have turned our society into an alkaline environment for men, to behave as a man should is currently harmful to those men, while they simultaneously spend their time goading men into situations where they are required by the tenants of manhood to respond, thus creating a tiger trap.

Without going too deeply into the multitude of problems that arise from subtracting men from a society, which whether by prison or having them self exile like me and many others have done to avoid jail, it creates an atmosphere conduisve to a proliferation of systemic pathological behavior in our society, because such behavior is not only no longer held in check by the men of those people, it is actually encouraged by the state. In effect they are transitioning our people to no longer depend on their men, but to depend on the State, which in our present situation is comprised of evil men from far away or traitorous tyrants from our own tribe which are only allowed to proliferate due to the men of our society being in chains behind a long line of tiger traps. It is a sociological fact that pathological people pathologize their society, not only have we been barred from weeding them out, “they” have labeled us as those elements and intend to use the State to weed us out. We have been supplanted by an army of state sponsored sycophants within our own society and so we, and therefore our people, suffer.

This has lead to far too many problems to enumerate here, but it must be acknowledged, counter measures must be taken and taught to our young boys and men or they will, just by virtue of behaving naturally, either go to prison or become cowards, as was the intention behind their creation of this environment. They need help navigating the tiger traps, while simultaneously not foregoing their manhood. We must define the problem, develop programs that instill a cultural adherence to behavior that will keep them free and capable enough to fight back and then we must begin to teach.

I know it is a lot, but the list of things that need to be done never grows shorter. To say we are disorganized is like saying the city dump could use a little dusting, we are scattered to the wind, that has to change, and it has to change now.

We have taken a lot of the existential weight off of our shoulders that the boomers left behind, such as defining who we are, coalescing our narrative, keeping somewhat of an alternative history to the fake one currently being written for our people, identifying methods of subversion, archtypes of pathological traitors, the concept of and the now predictable behaviors of controlled opposition and things of that nature, but we also need to couple the existential with the material. We actually have to start organizing and building, in the real world, not just on paper.

Until then, you should probably wear a bracelet when you go into town. When I like most boys my age did, due in large part to the alkaline environment we were born into, go through a self improvement phase, subconsciously realizing that some damage was done to us, although the understanding of why and how varied, the acknowledgement that we were damaged by our environment was pretty universal. One technique I picked up during that time and utilized with great success was wearing a bracelet. When I acted out the behavior I was trying to change, I would take the bracelet and move it to the other wrist. Without going into the psychological process behind it too much, the idea was to recognize on a conscious level what you were doing and to bring it out of the subconscious and into the light, to notice it, to realize what you were doing, physically acknowledge it by moving the bracelet to the other hand and to then stop doing it.

It seems strange I know, but I can personally testify to its effectiveness when used over time. So what I have done to so far avoid tiger traps is to have repurposed that technique to keep me out of jail. I attach all of my conscious understanding about the alkaline environment I am about to enter into the bracelet, all of the passive taunting, the knowledge about the companies behind the products at the store, the injustice of the law meant to keep me in chains, the disgust I feel at the servility of the mask wearers, the infantailization of seat belt laws and big brother in general, the pain of loss seeing our home occupied by foreigners, the frustration of knowing what should be but isn’t, all the way down to the soy beard on the cashier at the book store. Absolutely everything that raises the hackels on the inner beast that men carry around inside that keeps us free as possible, the thing in us that resents cages and being told what to do, our manhood. I attach all of that emotion and understanding to my bracelet to remind me I am leaving the world of men and entering into clownworld and that giving clowns the respect that I would afford men is a mistake.

It works. It is a conscious reminder for what otherwise would be manifesting itself in the natural subconscious feelings of anger at being forced to endure clownworld. It brings all of that anger and frustration into focus and lets me act in a way that not only keeps me out of jail, but actually feel better about myself, I mean I am certainly a lot of unpleasant things, but at least I am not one of THEM. If those feelings of anxiety or anger start to creep up when I am out and about in clownworld or a situation occurs where the natural response is also the response that will render you useless to our people in jail and those feelings start to feel a little overwhelming, as I’m sure they did to a lot of our boys in prison right now, then I stop, take a deep breath, put the bracelet on the other hand and step right over that tiger trap.

This is one workable solution that I have to offer, but we need about a million of those, we all know what needs to be done, but we must begin to take steps towards it.

My bracelet is one of those Catholic things with the little wood squares and paintings from the bible on them, because God is what I use to calm my anger and the wood reminds me of the South and my people, what I’m fighting for. It could be anything personal to you, as long as it reminds you of why you are wearing it in the first place, it is not a fashion accessory. It is to remind you to be disciplined in the face of adversity, to adapt and overcome it, to put your personal honor aside and swallow your pride if that means we win later, it is to remind you that your home is now controlled by the enemy and to conduct yourself accordingly, to think anything else is delusional, clownworld is not a reflection on you or our people nor is it your responsibility to fix it and trying to only prolongs its existence, let it burn, it does not belong to us nor is it your duty to protect it and it reminds us to not to give in to the urge to fight all of it around us all of the time, that comes later. Relax, move the bracelet to the other wrist and move on, there is a lot of work to do and you don’t have time for clowns and their clownish nonsense.

It can’t be for nothing though. I can only stand it if behind all of my restraint is action and there can be no action without organization. We must organize and begin to resist or our restraint will turn into servility, our nature will change and we will die without even having the decency to die as who we are as a people. We say organize at a local level, but we must first train our people how exactly to do that, just telling them to is not enough, its like telling a homeless person to just build a house, it will take team effort, know how and logistics, until then the cardboard box where we collectively live now in terms of organization will continue to be home.

Taking off that bracelet when I get home always feels good, but having an effective, real organization to help us fight back in a real way, whose singular goal that everything is a step on a path towards, one that ends with our home back and our freedom restored to our people would feel even better, so hurry it up already people, there is a lot to do.
