It wasn’t hard to see some of the big geopolitical picture coming together over the past week. The final Israeli hostage was handed over by Hamas as part of the tenuous ceasefire agreement. Netanyahu has been accusing Hamas of violating it and promises divine revenge on the Palestinians over the corpses of Israeli hostages killed by Israeli airstrikes on Gaza.
The entirety of Israel wants the Palestinians gone, but many Israelis fervently demanded he negotiate the return of the hostages from Hamas instead of just killing or abandoning them according to the Hannibal Directive. This had been an enormous domestic political problem for him. Their return places his government at a juncture for its next aggressive, self-destructive actions.
Leaflets have been dropped on Gaza imploring residents to cooperate with Israel and leave in exchange for aid since their expulsion is inevitable and nobody will ultimately protect them or care once they’re gone. The entire concept of peace with the Palestinians has always been a hollow farce by Israel and this current ceasefire was simply another ploy for buying time.
Mostly likely, the decisive impetus for allowing Trump back into office is that the Israelis are going to find themselves in existential trouble once they get the ball rolling again on the Palestinians, Hezbollah, and Iran. Netanyahu’s opportunistic devouring of Syrian territory is also bringing them closer to conflict with Turkey, which some Israeli officials are predicting will become an even greater threat to their survival than Iran.
It’s therefore essential for Trump to wash his hands of the unfixable mess in Eastern Europe to focus on America’s absolute priority of saving Israel. The long-running neocon side project of knocking down the Russian domino to set the stage for global domination has to be abandoned for the foreseeable future.
The neocon Jews and their lackeys in media and government are finding this rather upsetting but clearly their concerns were overruled. It’s quite telling that there’s constant whining but zero talk of Trump’s illegitimacy and having him removed from office like back in 2017 when he didn’t proffer his current utility.
I’ve been covering the conflict in Ukraine for ID since it began, spanning many articles explaining the absurdity of the lie that Russia was losing an unprovoked invasion. My prediction has always been that this would end in disaster for NATO and Ukraine. There have been plenty of other commentors in the alternative media doing the same.
Most recently, I listed what’s happening right now as the most likely possibility for its final outcome. This doesn’t require a brilliant intellect or powers of clairvoyance. One simply needs to reject the obvious nonsense spewed by the Western apparatus and apply common sense to the demonstrable realities of the situation.
Most Americans, military professionals included, don’t have the critical thinking skills for such a task. Trump deserves considerable credit for introducing a saleable narrative to them about blaming it all on Ukraine and dumping the catastrophe on Europe.
Americans will forget everything they were mislead about for three years and move along to believe the next set of staggering lies. They always do; this is a proven pattern. Ukraine will rapidly disappear from the psyche of Americans just like the debacles of the Global War on Terror. The exposure of the dishonesty behind the conflict won’t prompt any introspection nor will the fact that what they were assured would happen never happened.
This new narrative, however, is proving tremendously disconcerting for the Ukrainians who were led to believe that they were the heroes of the West with its full backing. In reality, they were used as expendable pawns the entire time just like the Poles in the opening stages of World War 2. The Poles paid a horrific price for the privilege and now so are the Ukrainians.
Trump has labeled Zelensky a dictator. This is an epithet which sticks since his term is over and opposition has been banned from the media right down to the Russian Orthodox Church. Trump has also blamed Ukraine for starting the war, which is somewhat fair since the incoming Ukrainian offensive against the Donbass triggered Putin’s intervention. Although, Ukraine acted at the direct behest of NATO and under its security assurances after being armed to the teeth by it for eight years. This must really sting.
Now that the end is in sight, Trump is trying to stick the Ukrainians with the bill for everything provided by the United States thus far through his demand for mineral rights under terms that violate Ukraine’s dignity, constitution, and could never be fulfilled for a variety of compelling reasons, such as Russia’s military control over much of the deposits. Whatever agreement might be reached, the objective is clearly to show Americans that the Ukrainians have been ripping off America. It seems to be working.
The Europeans must be incredibly stung since they’ve had to accept enormous economic damage from severing their economic relationship with Russia in the furtherance of this conflict. The lucrative market share they lost in Russia has gone mostly to China and they’ll never get it back. Their cheap energy and raw materials are mostly gone as well since a Russian effort to reorient their former exports to Europe eastward has been underway this entire time. The continent is literally being de-industrialized.
Trump is saying that since Ukraine is in Europe, the entire debacle is actually their responsibility, not America’s. Sure, the Europeans weren’t any bit more free than the Ukrainians about deciding on participation in the conflict and their security was never threatened at all by Putin. Still, geography favors Trump’s arguments on the issue and this simplicity is what will resonate with Americans. This is the thanks Europeans get for being hapless pawns.
While the denouement remains to be seen, it’s now transparent that Trump is going to blame it on Ukraine and dump the mess on Europe. This could prove to be a pretty clean break. America has Our Greatest Ally to worry about, so speed is a priority.

I’m proud to officially announce my candidacy for the office of Dogcatcher.
“Americans will forget everything they were mislead about for three years and move along to believe the next set of staggering lies. They always do; this is a proven pattern”. Very true. Universal democracy is an abject failure, and always will be.
