If Not Me, Then Who?

If not me, then who?
Will it be you?

You who sits by, waiting for the Empire to die.
You who buries your head in the sand,
But still wrings your worrisome hands.

If not me, then who?
Will it be you?

Will you pick up a pen?
And win the hearts of men?

Your forefathers blood is in the ground,
Do something besides sit around!

Can you not feel the call to rise in you,
Vibrating every bit of your sinew?

Calls from those in your line,
Ask you to simply pen a line.

Preserve your past and make it last;
If not me, then who?

In my past I was quick to action, and slow to think.
There, I have seen the bloody brink;
This is why I now fight in ink.

If not me, then who?
Will it be you?

    1. Well, a nation refers to the people (born), not to immigrants, refugees, mixing, etc. So we are therefore not a nation if you know the definition of the word and it’s root. An empire imposes values in other nations and provides garrisons. The U.S.oyVey does just that to an extreme never seen in the world before.

      Unfortunately the word has been grossly subverted to refer to a civic state; which simply can be anyone and anything makes up the ‘nation’ (empire), as long as there is a set of laws of in place.
